There will be one or two people who will have access to raw valves who can do some custom work including potential milling of the valve.

There will not be a "cover" for the valve. The actual valve body itself is millable.

So private people will not have acess to raw valves?

If its the person im thinking you are thinking it is...he probly wont. Maybe they would make a exception for me . Also...what colors do you think these are going to come in? And the eyes (i dont know much about them), are they the ones with only one actual eye? And if they are, is there some way you could put it in the rail (under the body) so it isnt visible?

The standard color is Henry Ford Black. The authorized customizers can offer other colors if they want or do some radical custom color schemes.

Our boards are capable of accepting both reflective and break beam. What comes standard is still undetermined.

ok i've just learnt about the mQvalve like yesterday so forgive me if i ask anything thats already been asked.

from what i understand, it doesn't use a sear, correct? in fact, the only way its connected to the frame (functionally that is) is via a cable, correct? so you could in theory redesign the whole body and move the body to anywhere on the frame? mebe even so far forward that you could actually have the feedneck facing straight down? (for warps and qloaders)

thats pretty hot. In fact, would it be possible to just install a rail on the eframe (like the rails on the tac one) and use clamps (like scope rings) to hold the body in place? that way you could switch between warp or vert feed...of course the body would need to be redesigned a little so that it doesn't have to screw into the frame to be secure... the practicality of this? i dunno really.. but that would be damn cool

It's still held into the body with the field strip scrwe though. You do have some air pressure to worry about. But with some ingenuity, you could rig a wrist mounted system if you wanted.

I had somebody email me a while back about using it in the J'affa staff weapon like they use on Stargate SG-1 (and the movie). So you're not getting ahead of yourself. You're just in time.

And yes, I'm a self proclaimed SG-1 dork.

Let's see, if you made it without a grip frame and mounted it to the top of your goggles, feed it with a warp, a remote air tank, and had a "remote" trigger (connected via wires is fine), you'd have the smallest possible exposed profile.
