AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Do you guys have a working prototype mag version or are you guys still a long ways away? If you do, can we see a vid? I've seen the cocker version and that was amazing.
Could you please answer this? It allmost seems you are trying to get around the question :)
I have a question that I bet alot of people will have. Will this have a warentee? And like mag valves, will annodizing them void the warentee/ have a high chance of wrecking it? (this question is both for the valves, and frames)

A good and fair question.....
The PBX Mag e-Kit will most likely have a frame and a valve. This would necessitate you removing the existing Mag valve, frame and sear assembly without modifying those same parts. You will then use just the rail and the body.....CAVEAT - if we can find a better way to do it then all bets are off.
If this is the case then, I am not sure that it will adversely affect your AGD warranty. Just like every product out there, we also plan on warranties against manufacturer's defects to protect the consumers.
As for the robustness of the PBX mQ-Valve, rest assure that our guys have a very healthy respect for what TK has accomplished and that we would not want to sully his legacy or our reputation with some sub-par product.
And yes, the valve is Anodizeable and can be cosmetically milled but due to tolerance issues, if you want a custom one, we would have to anodize it from raw rather than stripping one. As for the guys that will be doing the custom work.....let's just say that they will be reputable individuals with a long history in this forum.

This is going to be a break-through product, THE must-have upgrade for the Mag. Will it be available in a "reverse" or hose-left version?

Agreed. So you are saying anno will be advised only if you have a raw valve? And you would suggest only having the anno done by a handful of people you suggest?

i think i can answer that...
since it doesn have the tolerance issues of the on/off etc having a valve(valve cover) annod wouldnt/should be a problem..also being MILLED should be a prob...

its in this thread SOMWHERe..but i know its big
Thanks chrono...sorry if its taking me a while to understand this> The valve will NOT be able to be milled? (i didnt really care...but now that both of you have mentioned it )
I'm serious; that's how excited I am about the mq-valve. I just hope it actually does come out this year, because I'm going to need a new valve in about a week!

Yes anno is only adviseable if you have a raw valve. There's just no fool proof way to guarantee that stripping old anno won't change the internal tolerances.
There will be one or two people who will have access to raw valves who can do some custom work including potential milling of the valve.
There will not be a "cover" for the valve. The actual valve body itself is millable.
