i really dont think that agd will be making anything anytime soon. they are going to be riding on the rt ule for a while longer and if it comes out the hair.

however if agd does come out with something im not going to jump to get it either. im going to have to test it out because unfortunately i hvae to say that agd worries about what will last long long time and be legal than what will mow muppets which is what is in popular demand.

yeah so AGD doesnt produce "new" guns like some of the other manufactures, they dont need to, there current line up of valves bodies and accessories work and work well, if it aint broke dont fix it. Besides its kinda cool having the little agg'ers at my filed confusing my emag with the nerve and shocker etc. "emag? whats that? I thought that agd company went out of bussiness?" LOL, if they only knew
3.2 e mag ULE body and rail. Oh yeah I gots the X inside!!!

I just think it sucks that after spending over $1200 for an xmag, they aren't trying to develope anything to squeeze more performance out of it.

What drives a company is not so much the quality of their products although that is an important factor. What truly drives a company are the people behind the wheels. TK has always been on of the most respected figures in paintball.....and for good reason.

There are "things" that he sees that he couldn't possibly go public with. But he certainly can make his decision based on these "things" as far as how he should strategically position his company.

What we all see on the surface definitely isn't the sum total of what's going on.

i think ur getting too acustomed to timmies, having a "new" marker out ever other month.

everything they sell is diversified, and isnt a mock up with just physical changes like alot of other pball companies do.

i would hope you too would fine tune and think deeply before investing hundreds of thousands into a paintball product

"I just think it sucks that after spending over $1200 for an xmag, they aren't trying to develope anything to squeeze more performance out of it."

whos says their not trying to develop? how would any of us really know except for a select few?

your just making a "***" out of "u" and "me" (assume for those who dont get it)

also, you have the president of agd, as well as numerous other private, and agd associated paintball product creators right here, so instead of just complaining, why not suggest some stuff, after all, everyone thinks differently... so why not get helped by helping yourself and suggest what u would like to see.

                That explains much of it.

I kinda thought AGD is always developing new products, and I thougfht they would have come out with something like the mQ first. And you're right, I dont know as much about AGD as most others, as I did come from a cocker. I always thought of AGD as the front runner of mag technology.

desslock- I think it is a great thing that they can survive on what they currently have. It's kind of surprising when you compare something like this to a Timmy. If there werent so many different versions of timmys out there today, would it survive?

Mel- I'm not challenging that TK doesnt know what he is doing. I think he is doing a superb job.

This didnt turn out as I thought it would.
I'm not complaining that AGD isnt developing something( that we know of) or anything of that sort. I think my expectations were just too high, that's all. I thought they would be making everything for a mag, but I was wrong.

                    Hey:

'96 to 2000 hmmm.... Yep AGD wasn't making anything. Hold on... they are still around aren't they??? OH YA.... This is their forum.

Laying low a problem? If it is in the Company best interest, why not? Mr. Kaye did it from 1996-2000.

Granted I'd love to see something new to come out. But if not. I'll wait. Done it before why can't I do it again. I'll wait, wonder, and hope. But fore most wait.

I know Mr. Kaye is looking out for his company. Good. I want AGD to stay around and be around in another 4 years or 6 years or however long they feel that they need to lay low.

Either way... New stuff in a week new stuff in 13 years. I'll be here. Keep with whatever needs to be done Mr. Kaye. You have plenty of people who will be here either way.

Besides can AO not be happy with those who make aftermarket parts for automags as it is. I mean there are a few of em out now. If you want something new. Ask them. Yes, I am talking about AO's awesome Dealers....

Now I feel completely different than when I made this thread. I think it;s great others are finally realizing the potential products can have when they have an application to mags.

I was wrong, I admit it.

you can't just think they're not trying new things they're probly trying a lot of new and better things but most of the best things come in time.

In that 4 year period of ime AGD did not produce ONE new product. Yes this kinda hurt them at the time, but it was in their best interest. They were making good money by developing a less than lethal weapon.
Interesting point, what would agd be like if they had released the intelliframe, lvl 10, emag etc during these years. Would they be a different company? One of the leaders in tournment paintball?

I wish agd would come out with a good high end electro, I'd definitely shoot it. They just don't have a gun that fits my needs right now. The emag is very lacking imo.

This is probably the smartest thing you've said in the thread. Don't forget: YOU are the one who set those expectations, not AGD or any third party. If you look at the first post of the hAir trigger thread, you should be able to set reasonable expectations.

First let me say this. AGD is a great compnay that has never let any of us down, truely. I'm not saying AGD is bad, I love them. Just read on.

But it seems like we all expected AGD to come out with all the new mag products, but it doesnt seem that way. We have the hAir designed by Colin at Deadlywind. I expected AGD would have come out with something, but they havent. Also, PBX, a relitivly new product manufacturing company has already design an mQ valve for our beloved Mag. There is also Blackvcg level 10 bolt polishing, which increased efficency and may have lowered the operating pressure. Also, the hyperframe, an easy solution for those who wanted an electro pull with emag lowers.

But with that being said, they have also fixed many more "problems" ULE bodies, ULT kits, intelli, etc.

Is it just me, or did any one else expect AGD to fix/develop some of these products? Is AGD just secretly developing something? Possibly they are just working on the new marker to come out in a year or two?
