lmao, im surprised you werent embarassed to post that you're 13. not that we cant tell anyway. youre an immature idiot who seems to have trouble coming up with an insult that does not involve mentioning "your mom". and aparently your brain is not developed well enough for adequate reading comprehension, as you will see by my post that my main marker is not a mag, and in fact my main marker is faster than and just as light as an ion. and the ability to "shoot through a break" is affected only by the paint, barrel, and sizing between the two. and maybe if you could read, you would understand that i in fact said not many people can shoot faster than 17 bps legally. but just for the fun of it, i will mention that leatherpants here on AO can, and there are videos here to verify that.

I have seen a lot of accusations about how bad it is, but no real proof. As is always the case w/ the Ion. They have been durable so far, and I have not met anyone that had to "dispose" of it. Its not made of plastic. I dont understand why ppl keep saying that.

The feedneck doesnt "have" to be replaced. I like the stock one. The orings fit a wide variety of loaders. A lot of high end guns feednecks are replaced, but no because ppl "have" to. They just choose to. The trigger is the same. I personally replaced mine w/ A CP trigger. Thats just because I chose to. W/ a little work, the stock trigger can be fine.

They can be bought for 285 shipped, and really only need a barrel. The stock barrel is not too bad. I dont see where that anti SP hype comes from, but again, likely from someone who dislikes SP, and doesnt "own" one themself. I personally have a stiffi on mine though. Thats cause I like stiffis.


Look at ALL high end guns. PPl replace feednecks, triggers, ASAs, and barrels regardless. The Ion gives you a lower starting point. And there is no realistic need for more than 15bps.

They are so popular because they shoot so well, and cost so less. They are decent on efficiency, lightweight, fast, affordable, low recoil, quiet, and just a flat out great gun for the price. And SP has such a big name. Thats why its so popular.

yakitori - good argument, but my opinion still stands. an ion with a few upgrades is comparable to a stock freestyle or many other electros, both in features and price. the ion will actually cost more if you buy a new body, to make it look as good as any of the other guns.

Last time I checked, fields did not follow PSP/NXL rules. Rather ASTM standards, which ironically have not be enforced for years. Once a lawsuit comes up at a field from ramping, expect to see the end of it at most fields.
