A lot of kids don't initally have that sort of money, and they don't want to wait for a gun...so they buy the stock gun and slowly upgrade it as they get the money. But as far as all that other crap (hopper, tank, barrel, ect), you are going to have to buy that stuff anyways.

p.s. Me personally...I am going to get a Wraith instead of an Ion when I get back into paintball hopefully later this year, or possibly next year, but by then there will probly be other things I will want.

yes, but there are also a lot of people that DO have the money, or even already have a higher end marker and sell it for an ion.

Do you have any proof to substantiate your claims about AGD, or are you talking just to make yourself sound smart? I seriously doubt AGD would spend the money to keep up this site if they were in such severe financial straits. I'm also doubtful that anyone would've bought AGD if it were a lost cause.

                ??

If "mags"247 feels this way about AGD...I wonder how "cocker"247 feels about AGD. I bet right now, on the cocks.org board a guy using the name cockers247 is posting that WGP is about to go under.

We'd solve alot of problems if Ion owners would start their own forum and go there. If all I did was read this forum all day, I would think that if you don't have an ion you might as well just play in your backyard because you're too much of a loser to go play with real "ion" players.

Call me a but I own an Ion also. My ULE is my first semi love but the ion is a decent marker for the money. There are a couple ION owners groups JimmyBeam is a MOD at one. Several AO'ers frequent both.

You need to keep in mind that no one ever talks about the popularity of the Spyder or Tippmann guns.

It's just that the Ion is new. For some reason people buy a sub-$300 gun but throw hundreds of dollars at it to get a metal body/frame.
