Most over-hyped gun?

I would agree with that. Then again, I never thought much of them until I used one. You really have to shoot them to appreciate them.

K, I'm probably going to get killed for saying this, but I think the most overrated guns are Palmers. Sorry, but I had a friend send a KP3 rifle to them for a semi mod and the thing never worked right even out of the box. I understand the coolness factor, but if you're talking about bang for the buck there are other guns that shoot faster, are just as accurate, more reliable, and cost a whole lot less.

I would like to see on what evidence people are calling AKA guns over-rated. Unmilled they are on the heavy side... otherwise you can't improve a whole lot on them at all..

Not to those words.. but it wast he same hype that surrounded some of the supermags... great guns? Yeh, they are as good as anything out there. All they were made out to be? Impossible.

Ive heard so many "its more accurate" crap its ridiculous. Even their slogan, the most accurate marker in the world.

How about just E-cockers in general.

Strangley it does seem like updated older older Angels are very underrated.

anyway, over reated-private label markers, which kiddies think makes a marker better (like, a PL shocker is better shooting than a stock bodied one....regarless of the fact that they use identical internals and boards, ect)

under rated- (definately NOT cyborgs or icd markers, people dont like em, because theyer not good, yes, some love em, but, bah.) Probably aced older angels, those things shoot as nice as most high end stuff today, and can be had for just a few hundred $

overrated- definately the dm's. i played with a dm5 and a proto the other day. i wasn't blown away like i thought i'd be. i did have high expectations from it though.

overhyped: i don't think you can overhype much more than worrgames has done with their autococker. "Most accurate marker in the world." haha wow, talk about hyping, they're not holding back at all. to hell with physics and science! their not bad markers, but in my experience with them, they're definately not any more accurate than my mag or about any other marker i've shot lately.

most underrated: probably mags. i'm not saying this just cause i'm a mag fan or because i own one. everytime i go to the field, i get dirty looks when i pull out a mag. usually they think its a shocker to begin with, but when they find out its a mag, they can't believe i actually play with it. they'll then go on to tell me how horrible they are and how i need to try their *insert marker here*. after ii'm done playing with them, and after i let them shoot it at the range, their attitude completely changes. usually they're really impressed by the accuracy and the speed it has for a mech. thats why i think mags are generally very underrated.

Overhyped; ions, how can they really make it out to be all that great?? dont shoot that well at all and the plastic breaks pretty easily
underrated: mags, last tme i used my mag eople were saying "woh! dont point that at me! those safteyies are always defective!, and thngs like , watch t i heard the fps goes +-100 all the time"

Overrated--EGO, nice gun for sure but nothing revolutionary and overpriced imo. DMC overpriced too for what you get.

Underrated--EPIC for mechanicals, and Proto for electro.

Fully Agree with you there.. I spent 1k on a blazer with the works , and out of the box it had VICIOUS chopping issues and liked to break bolt orings.. ( Call up PPS and asked about the chopping thing and got a snippy " learn how to shoot it remark " Mind you Ive always shot a cocker with a slider frame till the Blazer, Turns out the gun was slightly out of time ) Any way... 1k later I took a bath on the piece of junk and traded it for a shocktech cocker and never looked back.. Ill never EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER buy another palmer semi since that junk pile graced my collection

I have to say, I was skeptical of the cyborg, but after getting it, almost no kick accurate, light. Beats the crap out of timmys, angels, or any other ram-driven marker.

i wouldnt go that far...Cyborgs arent better...there just on the same level....nothing wrong with that
