I believe I've read Glen saying that they actually discussed using pneumatic automation together a few times. (remember, paintball was a very small world back then)

Glen just says that HE came up with the idea, not Bud or Jeff. Bud and Jeff have a different story.

I've had 1 part break on my Blazer after 2-3 years of constant use. The ram shaft had a bubble in the casting, and broke on the fault. Palmer's replaced it free of charge with less than a 2 week turnaround from coast to coast.

I got no issues with their customer service. :)

Yes, Camille was stolen from my truck right after an event in So Cal but I have no clue as to who took it.

Besides, Camille was not the "prototype for the 'cocker" as it was arranged a bit differently.
Another gun, a double barreled, pistol format piece, which was actually the 4th semi that I built, was the one that was configured in the format that later was built into the 'cocker. Right down to the front mounted pneumatics and a sliding trigger. That was the actual piece that used to help Bud understand how to make it work on his equipment. That too was stolen from my 5th wheel trailer at an event, also in SoCal, about 3 months before Camille was stolen. Fortunately, I still have a few paintguns around here that were built in that same configuration, as well as some other Hurricanes (Camille style) that all date back to well before WGP figured out how to make it work.

I'd like to update my experience with the Blazer.

I just got it back from PPS today. It still has the exact same problem as it did the last time (chopping problems). User error mabye? Bad paint? It's hard to tell right now.


My minimag works great though.

A guy that used to own the field I got my start at was given a blazer from Glenn to test it out. Were talking before electros existed people. That gun was a cocker in a micro mag body,.. the thing was small!

The newer ones are more universal in design but give there is YEARS of developement into it now as you see it.

Every regulator that I have owned on a cocker has been from Glenns shop. His price might be higher than that of some other companies,.... but hes still here and his product still performes. Ill pay double the price any day for something I feel that will not let me down. His products do that for my guns.

The blazer that guy had (Tom) had issues after a few weeks of solid running,... were running about 3 cases into it over a day X 2 days. So it was alot of abuse. Eventually things loosened up on it and he sent it back,... got a replacement which had changes on it,.. and he has owned that one ever since.

The guns Palmer puts out is quality. Yeah its still a manual gun,... but his guns work like the day you got it till the day you sell it (if you ever want to).

You get what you pay for. Glenn isnt into all the bells and whistles stuff,... he pushes quality over everything else. You want cheaper in price,.. look elsewhere. You want a product that will work flawless over anything someone else is selling today,... go see Glenn Palmer.

Not to sound condescending, but are you sure you are not short stroking the trigger? They definitely have a much different feel than a mag. what barrel, paint, etc?

Yep, I'm certain it isn't just short stroking.

The barrel is the stock PPS brass barrel. I'm using brand new "x-ball" paint. I'm shooting it with un-regged anti-siphon co2.

It really sounds like I may have the same problem that Fastev has... whatever that may be. I can't be too sure until I test it some more though.

Might be worth checking out. Also, while you have your bolt removed, look through the breech and barrel with a flashlight from the back of the gun and see if the barrel and breech line up properly. If the I.D. of the barrel is slightly too small it'll make a ledge that won't get along with any paint too well.


I'm planning on picking up a new Blazer in the next few weeks, but I can't decide between right-feed and center feed. It will have a 12" vented barrel, Stab, and run on CO2, and will be pretty much a woodsball gun as I use my Phantom for speedball and I'm building a Pneumag as well. Any suggestions?

The 45 frames are suppose to be awesome. You might also want to consider a barel knob and maybe a sight hood if you get a right feed.

I've heard that about the frames. It'll be a single trigger frame for sure, I'm just not sure if I want to pony up for the upgraded frame right now. My biggest dilemma is center or side-feed...?
