K,... well u know how u have to grind down the MPA-3 to fit inside the intelli-frame,.. or the Air Walk?

My ram does not require that,... its square so it doesnt move around. It has mounting holes on the top of it,.. and it can be threaded.

The noid and ram "drop in" meaning that you dont have to do any more milling than your required to for a pneumag mod.

Look at the Intell-frame. If it wasnt for the fact that the 9volt wont fit to begin with,.. then the ram and noid would have more room than anything.

If you look at the video, the Storm Walk rears are almost identical to the Air Walk. The Air Walk is ALMOST a pefect interal match to the Intelli-frame.

Drop-in means that you shouldnt need to mill anything beyond a SIMPLE setup.
Meaning that what you saw in the video was VERY simple. May not be the coolest place to mount the LPR,.. but SIMPLE works as you can see.

I have a Logic frame now and I am going to try it out. It looks to me like it will work just fine. If you want a simple, all internal setup,... the Storm Walk is the way to go.

Let me give you an even better example:
The Mini-Morlock. You see how u get a bounch or wires all setup in the harness/ The board, some heat shrink tube, some switches, etc. Well think of pneumatic parts like that to produce the video results,.... thats what the "kit" is so far. What form it will ship in I have not decided yet,.. but most of you will find that the install does not take long at all.

The hardest part is finding what placement for the micro-switch in the trigger is best for you!

          Yep. A few.

I went to Tunaball and had a BLAST! What a wonderful way to shoot 3 cases of paint! LOL

On a sad note,.. the noid on the EP Kit decided that after shooting the video you all saw it working in, it would not work anymore.

I was informed that the solenoid has a recall out on it, and even after ordering another for replacement 3 weeks before hand. The thing never showed up.

So,.... no EP Kit at Tunaball. I was not happy with that at all.

I fired my orignal parts distributor for dropping the ball on my order. Apartently my order was not important enough to run through 4 weeks ago, and he didnt want to call me to tell me that he was on vacation and that someone else was handling my orders.

A new distributor is now on the books and has already been informed of my needs. Hopefully they will not make the same mistake.

Another update is that the EP Kit is no longer called that. You all can now call the kit as: "The EPM Kit" which was voted on by you and submitted by StygShore.

When the kit becomes avalible, he will be sent one free.

I did talk with a few of the guys at Tunaball. They were hoping to try the EPM Kit out. I wanted to run the kit but things just didnt work the way I wanted them to. Only good thing I can see from all that happened with it, is that there now is more time to make sure everything is as perfect as we can make it work.

Summary,... I didnt forget about u! You will be hearing from me VERY soon (i.e.: this Saturday)

Thats about it. Hope to give you guys better news in a month. Keep on postsing ideas and suggestions!

                          News and Updates.

Nothing to report on the kit as such.

I have been working 7 days a week (yes,.. u read correctly,.. 7 days). Which means I make money 5 days a week and the weekends I loving the 90+ degree weather we have here in NH on the nice 45 degree pitched roof,.. stripping shingles and clat boards,.. then re-decking and shingling over the house.

Since my family decided AGAINST hiring out for this project,.. that obligated myself as well as my brother (Ramping Sunday) to do this work on the weekends.

I have done ZERO with the kit. I have nothing for time to work on it at the moment.

I got parts in the mail (finally) for some new noids,.. but no time to test them.

Hopefully this project will be rapped up by middle of next month.

Still gonna do it,... just need the time to get back on my tech bench.

                                How about an update!!!???

K,.. so for all of you that actually wanted to see something come of this within a year,... things have been to a dead crawl.

Mostly due to my personal life. Buying a house and all takes the time away from this project ten-fold.

So rather than hear some bad news,.. let me give you some badish-but-goodish-news!

Bad part,.... I hacked up my Air Walk I bought from Jay8541. I know,.. I know,.. shoot me know with an SFL. I pretty much told him that I was gonna leave it in the box after I got it at Tunaball 2007. Well I had a night where I fixed my NXT Shocker, re-tuned my Level 10 in all 3 of my Micro E-Mags,... and then I was looking for something else to do,.. and the frame box was sitting on my kitchen table.

So after 3 hours of milling the pattern out from the Storm Walk Proto-types I got a while back,.... I had everything installed into the grip frame but the regulator.

So if you want some nice short good answers,.. I worked on the EPM Kit all afternoon up untill now. Once major setback that I had forgot about was my solenoid and board settings issues. I have 2 boards I have been using to test between settings rather than jack up the same board all the time. One board is on setting that I KNOW work all the time,.. the other is on the testing settings to check for drop off and such in high rates of fire.

The problem was that the solenoid I was using was (from what I was told) polarity sesitive, where the ports on the board were not. And to add to the problem,.. the noid was rubbing against metal contact on the side. I dont know WHY that made a difference because the gromit leads were wrapped and nothing but the body was exposed. But for some reason as soon as I took the noid out of its place,.. the thing worked fine. (So remember kids,... always wrap ur NOIDS! )

And for the results,.... paint slinger! I forgot to put fresh batteries in my B2,.. but after a few minutes,.. the loader was able to keep up a bit more. My ROF was capped at 20bps and it just let paint fly! I tried uncapped mode,.. but the loader didnt like that at all. No chops,.. but blank spaces in the strings.

Field testing will be done on September 2nd 2007 at AG Paintball in Wear, NH. My brother (Ramping Sunday on the AO) came up with the idea that once a month on a Sunday,... we should be allowed to take a "special" group of players on their own game time and be allowed to use all the little fire modes these guns now adays come with.

Hence,.. the EPM Kit will be rocking all day in EPMD Mode! (see video 1 for references)

For some of you that have Air Walk frames,.. I can tell you that the ram I have drops right in. The noid Im testing does not. Reason being that I fit the ram, battery, board, and all the wires inside. The noid I am trying out now is thin,.. but long. So in order to get everything in the frame,.. I had to mill a bit. Remember,... Im using a very LONG noid,.. so if you were to use the SMC that BigEvil, E~, and other used,.. it will all fit just fine.

When I get a chance to leave some more good news,... I will do so.

                                ~ P8nt
