Tracy told me you guys were out of them and more were going to be made.

Since you are the "maker" of everything I was hoping you would know when they will be made...

We are trying to get a few built manually here. Glenn Palmer actually made a bunch of these for us years ago now, and we have literally just run out... Russell has been so slammed with production that I haven't even asked him to make them... You can use a stock sear axle but may have to mod it + find a way to keep it from vibrating out. I'll follow up on this ASAP.

My buddy and myself made our own pins to work with our PTP bodies.

He made a small piece of sheet metal and tapped 2 small holes in the side of the body. He then put a piece of rod in for the sear pin and mounted the sheet metal.

        I went a different route,....

I bored out the hole wide enough to take a larger headed machine screw that when installed,... screws into the body and is counter sunk into the body as well.

Im planning to do the same with another body as well.

Why not use a shortened version of the RT pin, instead? Wouldn't it be easier? Anyone with a dremmel could take a regular pin, cut it and thread it onto the body.

Yes we will make more, Forest just hasn't gotten with Russell on that.

Thanks again to you guys getting your payments in. It will make my job so much easier when it comes time to ship. It will be hectic enough!!

The MM2k9 does exactly that. We'll make the shortened pins, but the standard RT pin and a handy-dandy Dremmel will work. Our best effort to keep our parts as universal as possible...

Do you or anyone have an optimal length we should file down the RT pin.

I have dial calipers if you can just get me close for a starting point.

                  Thanks,
                  Rod

This string is soooo long... We've have talked about it a bit. - I'll defer to the guys that are really tweaking 'mags these days (now that I'm old and forgetful...) if they jump in. Stock length to start (.740 ish) - cut it down until you get the level of light reactive trigger that makes you happy - that usually involves going TOO far with one pin and then cutting a second down to a slightly longer length...

Everything is designed to use as many "universal" parts as possible to make life easy - considering how custom this design really is!

This is only for the MM2K9 right?

Or will that work for earlier bodies as well?

Are you talking about the on/off pin or the sear pin? I think there is some confusion.
