Forest - I know you guys are busy, but any chance of getting my refund processed prior to the Great Shipping Bonanza of 2010? It's been hanging around for quite a while and don't want to get lost in the shuffle. Thanks!

Front blocks are running FINALLY !

I think its retarded how much a solid carbide end mill will flex when cutting 7075 material and when using a small 1/8" endmill im having to make 5 pass's before reaching final numbers .

Now i just gota make the ASA'a .

        Looks great.

Guess you will have to think if you really want to use 7075 ever again.

            Yay for more pictures!!!

Any chance we can see the multiple positions of the breech in the final body and front block?

Is that where the idea for this type of breech came from?

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey hey hey now... http://www.patentgenius.com/patent/7231914.html - and since I'm not allowed to look under the hood of a hot rod let alone drive anything faster than a John Deere riding mower these days I have no idea what you might be referring to...

There were a lot of reasons that led us to 7075 early in the design, but indestructibility was certainly one...

Nice! I'll have an even more indestructible Automag.

How will it hold up against the ano and re-ano processes?

I'm assuming better than 6061, which is a great re-sale advantage.

So it sounds like the Xmag is in violation of your patent and it could be argued that every paintball gun ever made could be too. (?????)

(I didn't read the whole patent, just skimmed it)

Yeah that's pretty much it - we've been trying to figure out a way to control the entire industry for years and this seemed like an easy way to do it (we were pretty disappointed when our "Anything with a Trigger" patent application was rejected, but we moved on...). Actually it does cover things like the original Tac-5, X-Mag probably, but we have been doing cross licensing deals with Tom since 1992 and have always worked to help each other improve AGD and PTP products collectively rather than restrain the other in any way. It's the way things SHOULD work, but unfortunately Tom and I are sometimes a bit too idealistic and have been stomped on by the big hairy foot of a competitor here and there... Bottom line is - we've had tons of product already developed (with IP in many cases) and have neglected to bring it to market - this was a great opportunity!!
