How quick people forget about the MASSIVE gap under the innovative rotating breech. Lets all focus on the miniscule "gap" that can easily be filled in with Ultra Black once we receive it
I, for one, would be more than pleased to have that show up at my door.

I discussed extending the bevel with Russell yesteday, and it solves one "probem" just to create another with what would appear to be a gap between the batt box and the front block... What look like a gap is just a very slight bevel. If there was no bevel on the non-E bodies it would literally be a flat sharp (sharp) edge which would be really bad... On Dust Black bodies I doubt that you will even see it - with polished bodies it may look like a bit of a shadow at best. I did ask Russell to try a front block with a reveal that looks more like this one, but we'll have to see how it looks. The difference between what you see in the photos and in person can be very different...

This idea would only work if you could slide the front into place and I have NO idea how hard things are to machine.
But what about two "fangs" sticking backwards to fill in the beveled area.
I can imagine they would be incredibly fragile but would fill in the "gap" and make people happy. Again, I have no idea how hard this idea would be to machine.
