    .
beat valve with hammer to get it to fit into body. !! I would be so pissed. That is an unacceptable solution on so many levels.

Unfortunately its not PTP's fault that AGD had valves that were machined different sizes.

I just searched "chord hammer" "karta hammer" "dallara hammer" "venomous hammer" and found no other instances of someone with an aftermarket body having to hammer their valve into the body. Can't recall it having been an issue with ULEs or any other slug-milled bodies.

I'm not trying to dig at you, Tracy. I don't really care one way or the other about you. Just callin it like I see it - your company was 2 years behind schedule and now instances of your product don't seem to work as they should. Here, let me be nicer: while I don't care for the styling of the Micro 2k9 bodies, some of the pictures people have posted of their finished/in progress guns are very nice.

LK, nope, I don't fix my own cars. I'll change the oil, rotate the tires, and swap filters and wipers, but that's about it. However, I have spent a lot of time working with my paintball guns over the years. Can't say I ever had to carry a hammer in my toolkit.
        SwallowBleach: It's good for you.

I noticed last night that my Xvalve is also a very tight fit (palm-hammer in, dowel-hammer out). It fits...but just really tight. Not a big deal.

Nah, I know you weren't trying to be a d-bag. If I were waiting on my Micro for 2 years, I'd likely be a little more leary about pounding my Valve in. Though it seems to work, if I would've been a little more patient, I probably would've sanded down the valve a tiny bit, but overall mine did fit. I wish I could afford a new valve...but sadly not right now.

There is an other person in this thread who is hell-bent on being enough of a d-bag for everyone.

not trying to dig at people, but hey... mission accomplished.
and I have done up-grade/finishing work on all of the other bodies you listed here.
and guess what, they are all so over sized that it's a wonder you don't end up with the body full of paint/sand/shell/low flying aircraft and so on.
btw, .005" over size is huge.
but lets see the product you have made, and does it still accept parts made but another manufacturer 10+ years ago.
oh yeah, you haven't made anything; you just nit pick and whine about having the delivery date of your new TOY, because the PEOPLE FIGHTING ON YOUR BEHAVE come first when they need equipment that could be the difference between coming home alive or in a box.
I actually encourage you to go to your local recruitment center or Military Base and explain to the highest ranking Officer you can find and explain to him how unreasonable it was for the DOD to cause a delay in the production of your $200.00 piece of sporting equipment/new toy.
or maybe if your really lucky you can expl;ain your point to retired Staff Sargent R. Lee Ermey. (I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that discussion.)

I think it is unreasonable to not account for that when making a new body. This is not the first time that PTP's specs have caused mag users problems. It is a reoccurring theme.

this is not for sympathy but an effort to explain why you may not find my words as being up to your high brow standards...

Grammar, spelling, logical fallacies, ease of communication,

In September of 1988 I was killed in a Motorcycle Crash. The doctors at the Sunnbrook Medical Center in Toronto managed to jump start me again.
As one of the lasting effects of that crash is the less than "commercial press" ability to communicate my thoughts in writing.
Add to this while the 09MM project was underway I developed a tumor in my left wrist.
                                yep, cancer.
had that removed and now I've lost motor function in 3 out of 5 fingers on my left hand.

SO IF MY WRITING SKILLS COME ACROSS AS BEING CONSIDERABLY LESS THAN THAT OF TOLKIEN; IT'S NOT FOR LACK OF EFFORT OR EDUCATION.
I just might have other things on my mind just now adding to the written confusion.

ok your a CPA. I hold degrees in advanced physics and design engineering... yippy skippy.

btw, logical fallacies... your tax return example is Reductio ad absurdum (Latin: "reduction to the absurd") as the error in you example is huge as opposed to .005" which would equate to the tax return being out by $0.005...

additionally are you aware that PTP jobs out the machining.
and it was the DOD contracts that the fabricator not PTP has that caused a great portion of the delays.

                                so in conclusion...

you have an unpleasant outward appearance with a maternal guardian that cloths you in a very odd manner/fashion.

your appearance negatively effects the correct functioning of clocks, cameras and other mechanical devices.

you should go fourth upon yourself fornicating with extreme vigor.
