I have not hit the chrono yet, but it seems to shoot around/above 280 with my classic valve cranked out a ways.

Anyways, mine fires fine for about 10-12 rounds and sticks. When I was shooting, I surely thought I blew out a detent, but they were still intact. I don't know what came out of the barrel. I have damage from the spring and it feels like a lip is forming, but I can't be sure. I am not using it until I see some form of solution in fear of damage.

I also got mine second hand with a jammed valve. Luke knocked it out and turned the valve (and another valve). Price was where I would expect it. Unfortunately, it has a scratch, but I can't be sure it wasn't there before I sent it. Not a big deal since resale on these is bombing anyways.

Also curious to know the answer to Cougar's question about accounting for the thickness of the washer and it's effect on the firing sequence. If it's a matter of simply installing the washer, okay. If I have to get the body machined to fit........

The thickness of the washer will affect the spring tension by a slight amount, should be able to fix that by increasin pressure of the valve a bit.

Here are my plans for the washer:

Same inner diameter (y) and thickness of the AGD Washer Aluminum Mainbody
Part Number: 001849 Protective Washer that gets held in place by the C-Clip in all our Aluminum Mainbodies.

Outer diameter of the washer will be x, needs to be nice and snug so it cannot wiggle and get in the way of the bolt, shouldnt need the clip if its tight in the body and held by spring pressure.

              Washer Specs: ID = y, OD = X
What do you guys think, worthwhile?

alooney thats exactly along the lines I was thinking. I was also wondering if it would be worth doing the X a few thousands big so it would fit snug, or just have it go in and out to clean and whatnot?

Thanks for heading this up!!!! I guess Drix and them are done with this conversation?? They definitely will owe you a thanks.

Also be liberal in the amount you do make, I wouldn't mind buying 4 or 5 in case i lose one at a field.

                Thanks again alooney!!

I havnt kept up with this thread much after getting my body in so forgive me but Im tring to get cought up on whats going on.

Correct me if Im wrong. From what I have read, it seems like theres a problem with the bodies breach mushrooming, the valves don't fit properly and need to be made to fit. Is there anything else Im missing?

I have not tried out my body yet (due to other projects) and am not sure if any of these will effect me, but has tracy or anyone from PTP responded to anyones pms about this? I know that hey havn't said anything on here about it(not from what I have seen anyway)?

                    There is also this:

In addition to the damage, I am also having trouble getting the velocity high enough, as described here:

I'm just not seeing how velocity issues could be
                      a PTP issue .

Well the same X-Valve in my other lowers with a warp left ULE body gives normal velocities (290 ish). After putting in the MM body I get 200. Turned all the way up gets to about 260.

The concern is drag on the bolt as it cycles through the body.

Have those that had issues try running different bolt springs in their setups?
