What flaws might those be? Anybody else been shooting automags since their inception who has had to spring down to reach lower functional velocity, or had to switch springs when switching bodies?

Also, the "flat" washer has is about 1/2" thick and has two sides, one with a recessed opening and the other completely flat. If its installed backwards, it will not work properly. Also, if it is pressed into place incorrectly, and is not perfectly straight, it will not work properly and there is really no fixing it. There's a reason those who requested a washer be shipped to them rather than having it be installed were given a full disclaimer and were offered installation service.

By the way I'm fairly sure Henchman wasn't around for the pre-order.

yeah i love mine

no issues here.
and if there are issues.
i just give them a call and they are happy to talk with me.

i have nothing but good things to say about ptp.

but there are always some who are grumps or what have you.

Not being a grump.
But I've tried several valves. None can get up beyond 240 without the valve starting to vent.

Not yet.
But I have a suspicion that some of the bodies were milled incorrectly.
I am going to take some pictures tonight of what my suspicions are.
And I would like other 2k9 users to do a simple test.

Using a gold spring, just drop your valve into the body, without screwing it n.
And then drop the same valve in a regular body, without screwing it in.
Do you find the valve sticking out more on the 2k9?

In my case there is at least a quarter inch difference on the 2k9.
Immstarting to suspect, that there are batches where he lathe did not cut down far enough.
When I look in the breach. Where te sprng touches, the ring, without the insert is roughly a quarter mch thick.

Can you guys look at yous, and see if it's that way with yours as well.

That is what I was starting to suspect before a job change and a move shelved all things paintball for me for a while. I seem to recall my valve was poking out a bit farther as well.

I was never able to get my MM2k9 firing at a reasonable velocity. I suspect it was because the spring was more compressed then it ought to have been due to something like this.

They were made so that they did not have to be pressed in.

Anyone know what the the distance is supposed to be? I'm assuming this is the distance from the rear frame screw to where the bolt catches.

(Not to the face of the ring, ring measures 0.600" thick)

Can you check your measurement. That ring dim is nearly 5/8" thick. I think you forgot a zero in there.

Just measured my MM2k9 and my Rogue Factor Sluggo, neither have been tested so these are just base numbers.

RF Sluggo 2.860"
MM2K9 3.115"

Just an fyi for everyone---the "Rogue Factor" Sluggs I offered some years ago now were purchased from AGD and made/machined by them/their machine shop. To date, Ive never sold a Slugg body that wasnt directly from AGD.

I took the spring off my xvalve and dumped the whole valve into position on the 2k9 and a UL body. the screw hole from the valve lines up PERFECTLY with the body hole for both guns. (No spring retainer in the 2k9). With that being said the bolt sits a wee bit farther back from the feedneck than it does on my UL body when flush against the valve bumper, I do not believe this will matter for performance though.

I still cant wait to get this thing anno'd up and start playing with it. I hate the damn economy
