So you are saying that you have about 70 springless lighters lying around???Originally posted by ZapTheMadyep! send it in for a free re-spring!
or you can make your own to save a little time. The spring is cut from a bic lighter. just cut one a little longer and stick it in. set it with a little tension and you're good to go!

That may be a naive questions but I'm going to ask it anyway.
To hold the cheater within inteliframe you need to use original screws that keep rubber grip onto inteliframe or you need longer ones ?
If the longer ones are required - are they in the kit ?Comment

Actually, you will probably need shorter ones since the cheater sits right up against the inside edges of the frame. Mine was one of the first and I didn't get any screws with it, but I seem to remember Zap saying he was going to send the proper length screws, though I may be totally mistaken. I just went to the hardware store and got the correct length.Originally posted by kszyszkowskiThat may be a naive questions but I'm going to ask it anyway.

OK, my camera died and (according to the wife) we CANNOT have baby's first Christmas without one so my cheater spot can go to someone else if they want to pay straight across for it. PM me if you're interested and we'll sort it out. I ordered an oring kit and foot of hose so the total is $104.Comment

I'm glad you mentioned this because I forgot to say with the last run...
I could not find any screws that were better than the stock Intelliframe screws. The stock screws will work fine. But if you're "picky" you can file them down a little shorter for a perfect fit. They don't need much, maybe 1/16" or so shorter.
Of course this all depends on what screws and grips you have. It fits pretty good with stock screws and sticky grips, which are kind of thick. Other grips probably need a little shorter screws.
The most important thing is just make sure you don't over tighten them and strip out the threads on your frame.
