WOW I've been out of it guys... I just bought a house, a duplex! Man is there a lot of stuff to do... I did order 100 more programmers the problem is I only have a few (2-3) cables left so if you want one PM me soon before I'm out. I'll get more eventually of course but not right away. And as usual if you have any questions or problems installing send me an email and if I can't tell you what to do right away I'll give you my cell number.

OK guys I recently moved and in the process of unpacking I've found 6 more xmod cables so If there's anyone here on AO that want's them speak up now... Next week friday any that I have left will go up on eBay.

(2 are spoken for but no $$$ yet)

The only real difference is that you can adjust the bps rate in which the ramping starts. I didn't put 1.8 on any of my guns. This feature is not gun adjustable. The limits of the board force you to have to load the software version that has the ramp up speed you want. Version 1.8 has to be loaded as 1.8x and there are several versions, one for each bps increment.

Since I really don't use the ramping except for fun the locked ramp up speed in 1.7 is fine for me.

It is your choice.

I'm happy you got a great deal on the gun but if you can't afford that you need to find a different hobby cuz you can't afford to play paintball. That's about the price of one case of relatively cheap paint. In the end, no I don't mind if another person flashes it for you but I would expect a $50 donation. You know how many donations I've recieved? ... None! and I'm sure it's fair to say that there are a whole lot of people out there who have my software that didn't buy a programmer. you wanna talk about bull #$%@ now that BULL #$%@.

What do you guys think of that? Am I wrong?

To date I have recieved 1 donation from a person who got my software from a friend.

Now, as I have told many of you... I knew this would happen when I decided to sell the programmers. I have kept quiet for a long time, but when someone whines to ME about being yelled at by someone else for stealing from ME, I gotta say something.

There was an instance a while back when you were out of programmers. Several AO'ers PM'd me wanting to purchase my programmer. I took "the high road" and didn't sell it. I felt it infringed on the rights to your software.

Call me "Old Skool". I feel that stealing software and music is wrong. Sadly, many, many folks do not share my beliefs.

My question to you is, is it OK -sell a programmer?

I thought it was pretty clear what can be done and what you don't want done with "your" software. All I can say is I did inquire with a couple differnt people about having my mag flashed when you were out of programmers. You know the response I got.....NO

So i did what someone should do....I waited.

It is ashame that you would even have to discuss this. You know what I say.....

EVERYONE WHO GOT A MAG FLASHED FOR FREE SPEAK UP. do the right thing here and donate some thank you $$$ to Lorne

NO, but let me explain... if you sell your programmer then someone who didn't pay me anything is getting my software. Or if they pay half lets say, I could say that you are each stealing half from me, because you now have not paid full price and neither have they.

I do allow one exception and always have. If you sell your gun that you purchased XMOD for you may include the programmer in the sale. In that case it is different because there are no coppies being made. If you have multiple guns and you have XMOD on all of them and you want to sell one but not the programmer I ask that you put AGD software back on it. If you have multiple guns and you are selling a gun with your programmer you should flash all your guns back to AGD Software.

To simplify all that If you own a programmer you have the right to use XMOD on as many guns as you own. If you don't own a programmer you do not have the right to use XMOD and you are stealing.

I love how at Tunaball where I told you that I had XMOD on the 2 Micro E-Mags I had were awesome but I didnt have it on my other E-Mag. Then I told you that I didnt have enough money yet to buy a 3rd programmer. You found that pretty amusing!

I think I have 4 now,.. still not enough for all my E-Mags,.. but Im almost there!

You still going to have time to do that custom software changes I asked for Paul? This was like almost a year ago,.... u got busy with school I think at the time.
