People do that with Obama for completely xenophobic reasons, and it disgusts me. Believe what you want politically, as long as you've got reasons to back up your argument. Disgust you it may some peoples middle name are mentioned when they run for political office. IIRC our last president's name was always stated with his middle name/initial. (George W Bush for those of you who dont do politics).

IMO it is just a name. Some people try to make every statement into some sort of raciest / religious slur statement. If voters would get their head out of their butt, and actually look at policies they would realize that this "vote for hope" is nothing but pulling the wool over their eyes.

Yes. You are correct. We use a person's middle name to distinguish who they are. It is not there for just looks.

You and I dont go around stating our name as "Robert John Smith". More than likely you would state "Hi I am bob smith".
