AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Since im into different types of racing I wouldnt be able to choose just one, but...
2000 Impreza 2.5RS (For rallying)
MK4 Supra (Drag Racing)
Third gen Rx-7 (Autocross/drift, although i'd probably swap out the rotory for a 2jz or an rb26)
you want to drag race?
fox body mustang.

I wasn't knocking japan, i love japanese cars, if you noticed one of the cars i would want is an FC, but putting an LS1 in it would ruin it because the fewer rpms you have the less range you have and the less control over your car you have. I would take a high revving rotary over an LS1 anyday.
How much of an oddity is one looking for? How mechanically inclined, because none of what I have suggested are for those who are going to be paying someone else shop labor rates to be working on, and all of what I suggested have "unique" maintenance issues.
Everything I put out there is meant to be a bit off of mainstream.
Lotus > Porsche for rear/mid engine Not for pure out power, not even necessarily for handling, but just because so few people even think of them

I would love an NA 13b, especially the renesis version, just throw away the horrid RX8 tranny that makes acceleration horrible. Seriously man, i would rather have higher RPMs so that i have more control over my car than power. It all depends on what the application is, i prefer tighter corners to straights, and so for that kind of driving a higher revving engine is VASTLY superior to a low revving powerful engine.

I meant one of the ones that came stock in the 2nd gen rx7.
Anyways, I remeber when the rx8 came out and the dealer got one in me and my dad test drove it. I only just turned 15 so I didnt have my license only my permit, almost got my first ticket for ~80 in a 30, cop spotting skills werent trained yet. The cop bought the we are just testing it out story.
Havent driven a car that corners better than it stock, espcially for its price group.

Man, the RX series is great, but my favorite is the FC, i would like a turbo one with an Renesis 12b, so i have the style and the power with no drawbacks that the turbo brings. That would be one of my dream cars, but it would be hard to actually do, but i think i'd have to change my pants each time after driving that car.

Indeed. More pratically a rx8 with a midsized turbo would do for a good balance, then you also have a backseat for the just in case you need to cram peeps in your car.
