I did not always agree with the man. I've seen many videos, never seen him in person. However, I found that watching his debates (or arguments, your choice) that this was a confident man.
Intelligent and educated (not always the same thing), articulate and eloquent and extremely pragmatic in his views. Always open to debate peacefully never advocating violence. Something I can respect.
This was a man loved by millions. A true champion of common sense.
