Also the USA receives plenty of money through FMS which I probably need to spell out (FOREIGN MILITARY SALES) and lots of European countries rely on buying military equipment from the US. The US is very pro FMS and frankly I don't care if you don't believe me. You can easily find all the partners the US has sold F-35s, F-16, F-18s, tanks, blah blah blah to. So yeah the US has a vested interest in selling weapons.

Wow, funny to hear a republican not wanting to spread freedom, peace and the American way.

1) having a friendly nation, such as Ukraine, which is one step closer to, especially covering the Black Sea and southern area of Russia, makes keeping an eye on what is going on there, as well as the Caucasus, with a different look at Iran.

2) having US warships visit the historic cities of Sevastapol and Odessa would be life enriching experiences for the sailors and crews of those ships.

3) with Ukraine being the breadbasket of Europe, not that we could or would see grain, but expanding where our own products, means that the market can get growth and diversity of possible products, coming in, as well as going out.

4) unprecedented access and intelligence from the weapons used by a competing export country. The US has historically wanted its grubby hands on the other boy's toys, to see how they work and why they work. From captured equipment during war times, to hijacking Sputnik2 at a conference to take it apart, to offering cash to pilots to fly their jets over here, to the fall of the Berlin Wall and ending of the Warsaw Pact & communism. We need those toys to see how our military stands up against them, how they work, how they can be defeated and how better we as a nation can thrn focus on to allied nations in pushing our own equipment.

5) since the end of the Cold War, while we knew what our own equipment can do against the export Soviet/Russian equipment, there has always been questions against the top tier stuff. Likewise what our own stuff can do against there stuff. So this provides a tangible and exceedingly useful test and actual use of what javelin can do to T-72s, T-80s and the like.

Bare in mind, and I'll give credit were credit is due. Trump is excellent at brand marketing and excellent at getting people to give him money. He made his money not with his airline, not with his casinos, not with his college, not with business acumen. As per the state of New York, some of his wealth was defrauding the government. And the man does know how to fail upwards.

Yet you look at Trump and his empire. He never built anything, really. His buildings were all built by others, which Trump slapped his name on. His golf clubs, also built by others. Now if you look at other builders in history, they started something, sold it and moved onto the next venture. Vanderbilt, for example. And while he never invented the boats/ferries that garnered his name, "The Admiral", he still actively moved on to business to business.

But just because you are in business, doesn't mean you know how national or even global economics work. Sure, give him a piece of real estate, and he might have grandiose plans for it, might sell it for a profit, but that does not an economics major be.

Now, I hate to tell you, but the idea of Trump being an outsider, is farcical. The man was already president. He is the leader of the GOP. Since 2016, he has done nothing BUT play politics. While you could say that he is not old politics, he is the republican party, for better or worse. So in 2016, you could certainly say that, but in 2024, his cherry has long been popped.

And for his miracle presidency, apparently more people didn't see the same things as I saw. And I am glad for that fact, as I do hope Trump does even more bat guano crazy things than he done in his 1st term. I want Trump to go full on dictator. I want him to bring the country down to its knees with tariffs and deportation. I want him to tear up the constitution and I will play the fiddle as trump burns down the country.

The core problem with this statement of yours is that the republican party as a whole LOVES to clamor about religion as a pillar of importance.

People in Trumps cabinet who have committed adultery.... Trump, RFK Jr, Hegseth. That's off the top of my head too. Gaetz has been investigated a bunch for sexual misconduct as well.

Heck even the GOP's website has a direct mention of God. Not Allah, not Buddha, not reincarnation.
