Judges under arrest?
I can understand one person being sympathetic to another. It's kind of inherent to humanity.
However, the justice system is supposed to be above prejudice or bias. Sympathetic but resolute in the rule of law based in facts, not feelings.
To see an ex-Judge accused of harboring a member of a suspected terrorist gang, or a sitting judge aiding and abetting a fugitive to escape?
Does not inspire belief that neutral arbitration is somehow different than the Referee's opinion.
In my brief lifetime, I have seen the erosion of confidence in our government and the media from the Warren Commission to Watergate to Russian collusion and Hunter's laptop.
Perhaps I should say "my confidence" has been eroded, especially with recent examples of the plague spreading into the judicial system.
Somewhere I heard that National Security does not mean hiding dirty little political secrets. The most secure Nation does not hide behind obfuscation or lies, least of all to their own constituents.
