Apparently, Los Angeles City Council has voted to approve a minimum wage hike up to $30 an hour primarily targeting the hospitality industry. Larger hotels and such.
It will be interesting to see how that works out for them.

He mentions the upcoming 2028 Olympics scheduled for LA. Personally, I'm wondering if they will have cleaned up everything after the fires by then. Unless that's where they plan to actually hold the Olympics.

I almost regret having mentioned Marquette Fry and National Guard in LA.

About the Trump vs. Musk feud. I suspect it's a charade for a couple reasons.
First, Trump wanted to release Epstein files and is blockaded by Democrats.
Second, argument between Trump and Musk where Musk claims Trump is in the files. (Which we've known for years)

Those two have happened, But I can't see Musk moving SpaceX to another country or giving up on the US market. Nor can I see Trump letting those assets go.
So, what's the motivation? On the surface a high probability is a duel over power. Beneath that may be some ulterior purpose.
It may just be a reliance on Democrats' extreme TDS. Hoping the far left will try to exploit a connection between Trump and Epstein and demand the files themselves. Opening Pandora's Box.
