i play a little hockey, thinking of joining the team, if ya dont know, prep is the best in the state, and i would probably start on the FHS hockey team, but i probably wont make the prep hockey team.

i havent been to captain's, what is it? when i skate i go to wonderland of ice (i know its stupid, but its a nice rink)

yeah, just out of curiosity, who here actually plays hockey in a league? I do, been playing since I was 4 1/2, and just made assistant captain of our Bantam 1 team! woot!

I do. Roller Hockey now though, our team switched over to save on fees and paying for ice time. Trying to make the switch from center to wing. Congrats on the A!

That's cool, I play Roller hockey in the summer. Only thing I don't like about it is that there isnt any checking but hey, thats not all there is to the game

Eh the checking rule is overlooked in our league. As long as you're playing the puck in some way they'll let it go.
It's fun, just a lot slower and more tiring.

I used to play for my high school(3 years ago). I was Captain my senior year

Ehh, the Rangers game was good last night from a hockey fan viewpoint, from the the POV of a Rangers fan, it kinda sucked.

They fell apart in the second period. At least they got their one point.

Goaltending needs some work, Richter and Blackburn are both allowing too many goals. Penalty kill should be better, but at least its better than last year. The first couple games it was great, but last night is slipped. Power play is GREAT but isn't consistent. When it works, it looks amazing. However, they were only 2 for 8 or so last night. Unacceptable, especially considering who they have in there.

On the positve side, Lindros is playing like he used to play in Philly, it was awesome. He was a raging bull last night. Bure is STILL scoring, he could hit 70 goals this season at the rate he's going (Actually, at the rate he's going he'll top 80, but lets be realistic).

Thank God we came out with a tie at least. I didn't get to watch much of the game, but I did catch part when Bure sniped that shot on the PP with Lindros screening. It was a screamer.

But bring the fire on! While I don't think they'll be drinking from the Cup any time soon, the Pens have, for the time being, a healthy Mario. Straka is due back this week (what a horrible year for Marty!)

If the Pens can keep the man hours lost from injury down to less than the 300+ GAMES of last season, I see an exit in the second round.

I WANT KASPAR BACK IN BLACK & GOLD!!! I have to ask, WTF was Craig Patrick thinking?!?!?!?!?

As for Mario, healthy now, yeah, but he'll get battered as the season goes on.

The toughest guy on your team is Steve McKenna. He was a Ranger last year, and let me tell you, he isn't tough
