I'll say! Seems to have trouble learning new systems, but man can he throw down a check!

Well his main problem here is that he's playing with Malakhov. Malakhov SHOULD be good, but at times he's comotose, and then Darius tries too hard to play both positions, and ends up all over the ice except where he belongs.

After that BOOMING Kaspar hit on Lindros a couple of years back (Erika hasn't been the same since), it kinda makes me wonder how those two are really getting along behind closed doors.

Pens and Habs tomorrow. Should be interesting.

my god, the Rangers are killing me! They better get outta this damn funk before it's to late. I find this Ironic, they went out spent all the money on Holik and Kaspar, yet they still have ALL the same problems as last couple seasons. I can't take another playoff-less year!

They do it every year Rmarks, go out and buy the big names (who tend to be older) and waste tons of money for another no playoff season. Don't get me wrong, the picked up great players this time, but they're in too big a rush to get back, they should have started with younger players when this losing thing all started back in like 96. Oh well, its still early.

All that money spent and nothing to show for it! damn Rangers are making me sick when I watch them play.

It's sad when they spend $$$$ on Kaspar, Poti, and Leetch and then Purinton, who makes $400K or so a year, is their best defensive defenseman by far.

It's sad when they spend $$$$ on Lindros, Bure, Holik, etc, and their scorers are Samuellson, Barnaby, Petrovicky, etc.

Money doesn't buy heart, and thats what the rangers are missing. The only guys who are putting up numbers and doing well are the guys with heart, the guys who don't get paid much but play for the love of the game.

Agreed. Although, I gotta tell ya. It kinda warms my heart when certain players struggle. Lindros being one of them.
