Reminds me of the call my wife received a few years ago about me. I had some head trauma and was pretty screwed up mentally for about 2 weeks, however some may say those conditions continue! My daughter hasn't gone thru anything serious like this so I'm very thankful. Glad to hear your daughter wasn't permanently injured, hopefully something good can come from all of this, an insurance settlement came from mine! :)

Um... wow. That is terrible! I'm glad your daughter is okay, but... not much to say here... I couldn't imagine what it would've been like to get that kind of call. Best wishes, and I hope she recovers from the trauma!

Sam and I want to say thank you for all the well wishes. Jessica is home, she has had some Advil for headache and I gave her a vicodin. She is eating a little bit which is good. Her eye is so swollen, poor little thing. Man, my heart stopped when my son told me what had happened.

Scared me terribly. I've no doubt that she will be feeling very sore tomorrow.

glad to hear shes doing good, how fast was the car going? sounds like the girl coudnt get going to fast so i guess most of the injurys were from falling into the concrete?

I'm very sorry to hear this, and yes it very well could have been avoided. Hopefully the driver of the car will now know to ALWAYS yield to a pedestrian! I hope she's doing okay, and recovers quickly! Been there done that with the collarbones.. broke both mine. Just keep on her about wearing the figure-8 if they gave her one! They can be painful but they help the bone heal right, otherwise she'll have a big knot on it like I do both of mine!

Take good care of her as I know you will, and before long she'll be up and running round like teenagers should!

i'm very happy that your daughter is ok and adding onto what you said about feeling sorry doesnt fix shattered glasses, a broken color bone, ect... i dont have huch to give but i will send you some money to help you pay for things if you need. youve been a big help to all of us in some way or another. i hope i can be a help to you
