You have my sympathy, Sam, as I live right across the street from an elementary school and people drive like idiots. It's very busy with drop-offs in the morning and other people like to use it as a shortcut to avoid traffic lights. It's also a very narrow street and you could probably get your head taken off just checking to see if a car is coming before you cross.
As for your mood, keep in mind she has parents too. I have a feeling they'll take matters into their hands.
