AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
im not sure what that has to do with anything, the article says the missile boxes were marked with the names of British manufacturers, i doubt they pack US made missiles in British manufacturer boxes and then ship them.

...and pbstu, blow it out yours. Army
"If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator." -- G. W. Bush, 12/18/00
they were British cruise missiles, not US. and correct me if im wrong but cruise missiles werent around in "them" days of Carter and Reagan.
I quoted what was relevant to my comments, i didnt leave anything out. furthermore i linked the article for anyone to read. i thought it was fairly obvious it was a violation of their UN agreements and so didnt think pointing it out was necassary. Also werent the SCUDs the first weapons that they found that violated the orginial UN bans?
Im sure they will find it came through a secondary source (If that find gets any coverage at all), im also sure they will find the Russian stuff came directly from the Russians, which will be covered extremely well, funny how that works, huh? its gets even more strange when you consider that the stuff that supposedly came from the Russians was night vision and satellite blocking equipment, and the stuff that supposedly came from the British was cruise missiles, but which one do you think everyones going to hear about?

I was addressing the comment that was in that link that talked about US munitions dated in the 80's AND the cruise missles as well. Two seprate things I was responding too. Somewhere in there they mentioned some US munitions I think. Not in your post here but in the link? I thought I saw that? I saw it somewhere today that some old 80's US stuff was found not sure where.
Also you realy need to go back and read that again. THere was no indication that Cruise Missles and British are linked and the artical jumps back and forth between Russian Missles and boxes with British manufacturers on them. It does not say the missles were in those crates. The artical is rather hard to follow. So be carefull! :)
And they could have aquired them from a second party was my point. They will be able to tell if they are British they will be tracable and they will be able to find out who sold them and who might have then resold them if thats the case. Also note that no one has reported anything on that since. I feel certain they would have been reported but if not I am fairly certain they were not sold directly to the Iraqis by the British. That was my point. You seemed to imply the British HAD to have sold them to them. In fact there may be another explanation. Assuming that report has any validity. I am seeing a lot of stuff in the press that has NONE. You have to kind of sift through it and wait. And some if it is pure fiction.
No there have been NO confirmed SCUDS. That report was mentioned by the Press but was not substantiated by the Central Command and in fact they have stated since that there has not been any.

You are connecting two unrelated thoughts on your own. I suspect they intended for you to do that. By writing it so disjointedly.

relax chief im just asking a question. no need to snap on me
...again...go back and read it carefully. They jump around never realy say the Russian Missles are in British boxes. They certainly seem to imply that as they never follow one thought to another at all. It is hard to figure out what they are talking about realy. And I suspect they are missusing the Term "Cruise Missle" too. Not all winged missles are Cruise Missles and it appears the author of that thread may think they are. It is realy poorly written and disjointed.
Their first comment is they found Missles, Mines and Munitions there.
then they jump to Russian anti ship missles.
then they jump to another unidentified Missle.
and then they mention boxes with British Names on them.
they never say the Missle boxes have British names on them. For all we know it could be the Munitions or the mines. Or even bath salts found beside them. Who knows but "something" found there is the best one can surmise.
I have an information to check.
Is there an investigation in your Congress for about 24 USA companies that send illegaly military equipment to Irak?
I am posting that because IF that is true is very seriously.
From Greece, so do not expect perfect english.
