Yeah the genie is out of the bottle now. They now want us to leave? Like we can do that now! Besides we will put some bases there as that is one of the goals the administration had.

Hopefully the first thing the delegates will work on is a bill of rights so they don't go to tyranny of the majority. There are christians in Iraq who are terrified that they will be oppressed once the Americans leave. Of course some people are demonstrating for the U.S. to leave but others are begging us to stay.

There will be a US military base in Iraq for a while for my mom just got orders to send 3 of her employees for AAFES to Iraq. They are to start up a PX/BX there.

Ammo dump

Bad Iraqi's killed some good Iraqi's by blowing an American Ammo Dump with Flares. The good Iraqi's are now protesting against us again.

Yes they are but some of us were worried about that. Now we are going to be there for a bit. It is also good to remember, however, that sometimes protestors can be the vocal minority. They are just motivated to get out since they are the ones protesting. There are probably many people who are just waiting to see how it is going to shake out. If they start to feel like things are getting better it still might be okay. BTW do you have a link to this story? Hadn't heard about this yet.

I am starting to hear the question of when will American troops leave Iraq as in wishing for them to be back soon. This is not a good sign.
