        no crutches

I play left wing..and no i dont use em as crutches. i played 16 season games. 3 playoff games. and about 30 practices. Ill try to be modest here, but it will be hard. When you have a slapshot and a snapshot like mine...its hard not to break sticks. even my coach said last year that i had the best slapshot on the team, except for the captain.

Have any of u played in NHL rinks?

only sticks ill use are either easton senergys or ccm vectors. i broke my old senergy so now i have a ccm vector
i have the best snap and slap shot on my team. my slap shot can compete easily with the bantams slapshots and im a peewee.

I don't like synergies, they always break and i dont like the feeling of them. It's weird they're like too light for me. I love Sherwoods.

              koho vector

My brother had one of these once...he tried putting a blade in it.."do not put over open flame" he did then he cracked a portion of the stick off.. so i ended up with a free $80 stick..

And the only bad part about wood sticks is that after a few of my slap shots the shaft warps and i cant shoot as well so then i gotta readjust my aim

my favorite stick, and I bought it about a season before I stopped playing a few years ago, was an Easton A/C (Aluminium/Carbon) 100 Flex. I know a lot of people these days like those noodle flex sticks..but if someone could just set me up right, when I was up at the point, I could just feel the sucker whip around on a slap shot...I actually had the goalie ducking on shots when I had that bad boy hooked up..

                  noodle sticks

those are terrible. after a few hard slapshots they bend and then u need a new stick because it has no more whip.

I know your pain. Been there myself. After three year I proposed(sp) to my girlfriend. About nine months into our engagement she left. Then a few months after, an old girlfriend that I started talking to months after told me that the she found out that the ex-fiance was seeing someone that I knew around the same time the ex left. Enough about the past, now about hockey. I haven't played ice, just roller once. Looks easier than it is. But I prefer watching ice hockey.

Got to skate at the pepsi center but not play.

Hmmm I usually go through 2 a season, but I play center and almost never take slap shots.

Nice. The only NHL rink that ive played at was Nassau Coliseum (Islanders). My dream though is to play at Madison Square Garden (Rangers!!! even though they suck)

Most of my slapshots are when i fly the zone and go right over the blue line..I always aim for the shelves where momma keeps the peanut butter

Heheheh nah our second line is like that, just fast as all get out and flying everywhere. My line is not as quick but we set up in the zone very quickly and get a lot of screened one timers. It's pretty good change up, not many teams can do well against both styles.

Top shelf I have problems with, but a quick wrister two inches inside the post, 10 inchs off the surface is my baby.

                                ...

My favorites are shelved slapshots to the opposite corners..im usually always on the left so i shooot high right..and snap shots. I havent had a goalie that could save my snap shot without some effort into it. Usually the placement of the shot is worse then a fast shot. but if uve got a fast well placed shot...no reason u cant have like 30 goals

my team had 2 fast lines, and 2 other lines that would be very good at setting stuff up. I was the setup line. My line was also considered the checking line..just because it wasnt a good shift unless i leveled all of their fowards

another favorite thing of mine is hipchecks..ive leveled some huge defensemen while they were coming around the boards behind the net...good times..good times..Its fun to hear the crowd after those too

                                Daniel
