    Simply put relationships require ground rules. If you don't sit down and figure out what your rules are then the other person doesn't know and there can't be a consensus.

    For instance, when my wife and I were first dating it was made very clear to me that I could still go to strip clubs with my friends (my buddy's band plays there a lot, hey, I swear) and I can still hang out with my female friends, BUT that it was absolutly not permissable for me to my Boomstick in anyone else's Mag (delicate ain't I?)

    Armed with that simple rule I have had a great relationship for more then four years, both with my wife and with my friends. It has been remarked by one of my friends that I'm the only single one left in the group even though I'm the only one that's married and everyone is just dating!

    Anyways, ground rules. If you don't want her fooling around with other guys tell her that. If she refuses then you decide if you can live with that. If you can't, it's over. If you can, you're a more tolerant man than I.

        I don't see the problem, they weren't exclusive, he's just obviously more invested than she is.

            Frankly, she should have known better.

            If a woman can read my mind and know that I'm about to drop a couple grand on a new computer or a paintball gun then she should take the time while she's in there to find out I don't want her hooking up with other people.

            If there's anything I can't stand it's women that only read part of my mind. Stay a while, read the whole thing.

                when you get in to a real relationship it will be implicitly knowen that it is an exclusive relationship and doesent need to be "agreed upon" especialy with chicks if it has to be agreed upon shes a HO! plain and simple females are emotional creatures who form homonal bonds to those who screw them if they arnt bonding like that then there is some thing wrong with them

                    Obviously a lot of people have conflicting opinions on the issue. Either she was not in the wrong becuase of our lack of exlusiveness, or she was in the wrong for taking out relationship and the feelings involved within it too lightly. It doesn't matter to me either way, becuase I know how I feel, and I feel like crap. It is definitely true that there are other fish in the sea, and I'm about to become a fisherman...unless she talks to me and we resolve this. I definitely wouldn't mind working things out but if it's not going to happen then I'm going to move on.

                                Ah, that didn't sound like I wanted it too. I meant literally instead of seriously. I just think taht if a girl needs to be told not to make out with other guys, or if she slips up and does, and afterwards she doesnt see why it was a problem, and justifies it by saying that we never agreed to be "exclusive".

                                I dont know, maybe I;m just ignorant when it comes to girls, but I think kids, especially in jr. high and highschool take relationships and find a way to make them dramatic. Not to say that they are bad, or that all relationships are not worth while, its just.........
