So invasion is justified whenever a treaty is broken? By that logic, the US should have been bombed many times over already....

Oh yeah, lets look at your little song lol.

            Verse

I hear people saying we don't need this war
I say there's some things worth fighting for
What about our freedom and this piece of ground
We didn't get to keep 'em by backing down
They say we don't realize the mess we're getting in
Before you start your preaching let me ask you this my friend- OMFG whos preaching?

            Chorus

Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
            And her people blown away
Have you forgotten when those towers fell?-
We had neighbors still inside going through a living hell
And you say we shouldn't worry 'bout bin Laden
            Have you forgotten?

            Verse

They took all the footage off my T.V.
Said it's too disturbing for you and me
It'll just breed anger that's what the experts say
If it was up to me I'd show it everyday
Some say this country's just out looking for a fight
After 9/11 man I'd have to say that's right- ME TOO

            Repeat chorus

            Bridge

I've been there with the soldiers
            Who've gone away to war
And you can bet that they remember
            Just what they're fighting for

            Chorus 3

Have you forgotten all the people killed?
Some went down like heroes in that Pennsylvania field
Have you forgotten about our Pentagon?
All the loved ones that we lost and those left to carry on
Don't you tell me not to worry about bin Laden
            Have you forgotten?
            Have you forgotten?
            Have you forgotten?

Last thing I saw on this was a week or so back we had identified 13 weapons depots EACH OF THEM the size of Manhattan! We have about finished looking through each munition on only three fo these sites. Now those are just the ones we know about. And massive in size. So its gonna take a while just to examine and dismantle each warhead in the last 10. Not to mention the sites we DO NOT know about. Which we are finding. Remember the one large one last week? So... just to verify and dismantle what we know of would take at least another year! Not counting any we find in the mean time....

Thats just one small part of what we face here and why we will at least have to stay that long.

I believe that probably 90 percent of those people want us there. But...fear we will leave! Thats the issue with them. We left them before. We cannot do so again. We owe that to them.

Uhm Iraq earned BILLIONS in Food for oil money in the 90's. Saddam kept the money and starved the Iraqi people. We could not do a damn thing about it then, but we can now can't we? Who is rebuilding their infrastructure? Oh yeah we are!

That's right. We haven't. READ MY POST SMARTASS! Saddam surrendered to us, not the other way around. He was bound to that armistice under the penalty of force.

I guess that is the difference between you and I. I can enjoy a song, relate to and understand it's points and then realize it for what it is! An emotional response, not policy!

As for you link, whatever floats your boat!

When were the people of Iraq starving? Have any proof to back comments like this?

FYI - The food shortage started after the war, before hand they ate well. You have to stop believing everything you hear.

Ok, he violated a treaty. Does that justify invading and occupying Iraq? NO.

My point was, it is hypocritical to hold international law to other countries and INVADE THEM when the break it, but when it comes to the US, we pick and choose which UN contracts we feel like abiding by.
