Whilst it is good that Saddam has now been caught...it now presents a whole new set of problems. Yes, he will stand trial, but where? As he is quite obvously alive when he is convicted where does he get imprisoned...Spandau? Plus as he is alive that will cause more of the extremists to attack as to them their President is alive and waiting to retake office. Finding him and proving it was him and then producing the body would have worked out a lot lot better...as a martyer (sp?) whilst this would have continued the fight within Iraq it would have fizzled out in time. With Saddam alive this isn't going to go away...and does anyone really think that they will convict Saddam and give the death penalty?Comment

Of course they will pursue the death penalty, he is a known terrorist now almost certainly linked with the 9/11 attack as documented on paper. There is no doubt in my mind he will fry, as long as it happens while GWB is in office (no POS democrat is gonna fry him... GOOOO BUSH!).

This'll get Bush reelected.
I personally believe we should set up a court over there and let the Iraqis be the jury. I bet they could think of some pretty gruesome ways to off him... and no blood on our hands. The UN would get a little pissed if we gave him an acid bath, but an Iraqi who was tortured by him previously wouldn't catch much flak.

You are too busy gloating about the capture of Saddam Hussein that you forget the war is not over and people are still dying. 20 people were killed in a car bomb today I don't see you upset about 20 innocent Iraqis being killed so I guess its ok that innocent civilians are still dying.Comment
