Who would be in favor of removing the post count

I'm with Nick O time, it is helpful when it comes to trading. There is no guarentee that a long time member is not a bad trader, but a low post count does raise a red flag when it comes to trading.

That and I wouldn't know how cool Load is...

Eh, screw the posts. It would get rid of ALOT of annoying people and alot of those stupid 'yay I hit 100 posts'
To whoever was talking about trading, their oppinion should be based on your join date, and your feedback. It should'nt have anything to do with the post count. Not trading with someone because they only have 10 posts is stupid.

Yes there seem to be more and more post whores on AO. I agree, I would like it to stop, but hey what can I say I use to be a post whore. As for deleteing the post count? No. It does give the person a certin amount of credibilty especially when it comes to B/S/T. It makes the average person feel better to buy something from me, then someone with 20 some odd posts. Or at least thats how I feel when I'm giving my money away.

I'm all for getting rid of it. Another board that I'm on got rid of it and it really did stop alot of the pw'ing.

Besides I've been deleting old posts to keep my post count steady for quite some time now. I figure if I hadn't done that I'd be well above 2k by now.
