I rocked the Skaven / Tyranid / Necron.

Orks are just as bad ... though they are a ton more fun to play. My old Ork army used mostly converted vehicles ... nothing better then seeing the look on a players face when my Ork HQ comes out in a converted Land Raider Crusader ... hehehe

Or try the Death Guard (Plague Marines). The whole freaking army has toughness 5. The is a pain in the Arse. My friend has a Daemon Prince with Damonic Stature (counts as a monsteruos creature) and armed with a dread axe for that army. So, there is no saves agains his close combat attacks. Really hard to deal with.

Way too much is never enough!!!

I have so much stuff. At least 2000 points each (new rules) of 1-3rd edition Orks and Space Marines. I also have a ton of 3rd edition Tyranids, the beginning of a Khornate Army, and I just started a fantasy army of Orcs. Plus I play all the ridiculous offshoot games; Mordheim, Bloodbowl, Necromunda, on and on and. It's what I do when it's too cold to play paintball. I also build my own terrain, cause I won't pay retail for anything. Here is a pic of just one wall in my "workshop".

The really sick thing is that well over half of this stuff is still on the sprue!

I finally have a 1000 point 2nd Edition Ultramarine army painted to my satisfaction. I built the terrain as well, but I didn't put in any forest stuff cause it would get in the way. Here are some pics...

Why Ultramarines? With a Chaplain like that you should play Blood Angels. Man, Death Company shreds ANYTHING.

Pullman, 2nd edition? You still playing by those rules? Third edition is a bit more streamlined, and I think they are going to fourth within the next couple of years.

                              Minimag,
Ever seen what Kohrne Berzerkers can do? My 8 man squad of them does 33 attacks when charging. And every one but the Aspiring Chamion's close combat weaponsonly allow 4+ or worse normal armor saves. The aspiring champoin has a power weapon. But they have donwsides, they have to charge what ever they are in range of. Even if it is something that they cannot hurt, like vehicles or C'Tan. And the whole blood rage thing gets a little tired after a while.

                                I like Vanilla Marines!

Also Space Orks are my first love. I find the most balanced and therefore fun games are generally between Orks and normal marines. The Orks have to run in there and beat folks about the head and neck. The Marines stay put, shoot, and the bodies start piling up.

I also like the way 2nd Company Ultramarines are decked out in the primary colors. I guess I'm more of a modeller than a player. I don't win very often, but I think my models are generally pretty spiffy.
