No woman is going to pry away my garbage bounty from my cold dead ashes. Some people throw away things for the dumbest reasons.

Once I get my own place im gonna raid so many dumpsters, backalleys, and construction signs (only ones noy being used) taht the ney weight of garbage collected will be lowered! My whole apartment will have a bridge underpass theme. Ok J/king... (only the living room). Stuff I found for free means I couldn't care less if it gets trashed in a wild party at my place.

only dumpster diving i have ever done was when i was younger a local nail making company went out of business.

i was walking by the dumpster one day and looked in it
the WHOLE dumpster was full of boxes of nail.

ended up with around 150 boxes of various size nails. we (2 of us) carried nails home for hours. brand new, just made. my old man does carpentry so he was extremely happy. he was also nice enough to give us $5 a box for them

Back when I was a little phyregod we lived near this place that made stuff out of brass.. So their dumpster was always full of scraps.. various sized and shaped chunks of brass. Mostly rectangular sheets around 6-12 inches.. I built an entire skate park out of it.. err.. finger board skate park that is. It was neet.

My brother found a violin in a case in a dumpster.. had it appraised at $1200.00 I guess that kicks my skate park's umm... rear.

My high school used to throw out some interesting stuff. My favourite find: two fire alarm bells (one 6 inch, one 12 inch) when they converted the alarms over to electronic buzzers, I've got them sitting in my basement waiting for an appropriate project to come along.
              Usually around. Usually silent.

Yes, since I live right near hick area, I can tell you right now that FL from Ocala to Jupiter(where I live) has many hicks. I live in Jupiter, but 2 miles away is Jupiter farms which is hick area, there every driveway has a lifted pickup and if a wild boar is see running, hicks will jump in their trucks and shoot at it while moving in the trucks. Also every hick in FL should be flocking here soon, because of mud fest. Great.

I got a lawnmower last night but it doesn't start and I was more in the take stuff apart then fix stuff mode, so instead of fixing the throttle and choke, I ripped every good part off it and put them in a box in my basement

I don't go in dumpsters much
When people move, spring time when they are cleaning, anytime they are emptying someones house out, lawn equipment repair places, we got tons of stuff from there dumpster but were almost arrested for us, the police made us put it all back, but we got to keep the stuff we already had home
