My dad used to have a Grand Caravan. It moved pretty quick if you stomped on the gas, surprisingly quick for something of its size anyway.

I'm gonna say that yes, the z06 is a faster car and more of a sports car than a wrx. I would agree on you with that. But that doesn't change the fact that the z06 driver didn't know how to race

I agree with Heat. The WRX has an advantage of being an "import". I believe its horsepower:weight ratio is higher, because it is a lighter import car. Not to mention AWD(Turbo!?) is a sure way to get a good launch. Definatley a stock Corvette is no where near its potential. And the driver needs to learn somthing about racing.
Either way, the sled in my sig has them both beat.

Trust me a Stock WRX CAN'T beat a stock z06 given equal drivers...
The WRX was in fact modded pretty decently.

My car is not stock. I have a little less than 3,000$ in mods. My car actually weighs more than the Z06. My car completely gutted with me in it weighs 3200 lbs. If anything I would say the only reason I beat this guy is because he played right into my hand. On the street, from a stop, and I know how to drive my car. I don't have a superior car, I don't make more power, and I weigh more than him. Its almost like a sporting event, its all about match ups.
