I think this guy makes some very good points about the situations in Muslim/Arab etc countries that we are seeing right now. Something that all of you might consider could be not far from the truth...

Also something you need to read on Iraq and Saddams massacres in general... Read it... don't just run your mouth about stuff and try and ignore it ... READ IT!

Now after you do that.... look at these pictures in this next link. ALL OF THEM. Not just the first page.... keep going. Till your sick. Won't take long but look at them. Then think again... Was it worth it? But don't even start until you have completed this assignment.

        That's some nasty, sobering stuff.

Last year I went with some friends to watch some student documentaries at one of the local universities (I had particpated in a paintball doc). One of the student groups did their story on Iraqis living in Canada, and the anti-war protests. There was little link between the two subject lines. The only Iraqi-Canadian they could get to speak out against a US-led invasion of Iraq was a young girl who had never actually lived there. The immigrants and refugees all spoke of the fear of nighttime arrests, and how they hoped they could someday go home, after Saddam was overthrown. While they worried for their familes still in Iraq, none of them seemed opposed to the idea of a US invasion.
