it depends, since registering of firearms wasnt required in the old days, you could argue that it was bought then and forgot about . and they may run a ballistics check to see if it was used in any crimes and you may be able to register it, but dont quote me on this, if its a real scenerio, contact a lawyer and see what he says

You need to explain why we shouldn't be allowed to have bayonets we don't have to defend why we should. A bayonet probably hasn't been used in a crime since the 1800 so why shouldn't be be allowed to have one? Please explain.
