I have brought home 2 F's in my life. One from 8th grade Anatomy, I failed French 1 the entire freshmen year of high school. My parents didnt do anything to me, they know I did my best, well French, I just hated it and never went, but my mom hated the teacher, so it was all good.

Honestly, if I brought home an F now, I would be more harsh on myself then my parents would be on me. I am a Junior in High School, wanting to attend UCF for college, if I get an F on my report card, that will hurt my chances at getting to UCF. All my classes are A's, except for Algebra 2. I have the worst teacher in the world, she is chinese and dosent speak english very well, just has a really really bad method of teaching. She dosent gives us notes or anything, but I try my best and have been getting a D in it all year.

I dont think your punishment was to harsh, seems like right on the money for an F. Your parents want to you concentrate on your school work, so they take away the stuff that can distract you from it. Just be happy they didnt take away paintball. Many of my teachers have called home saying I dont pay attention in class, I read paintball magazines all the time, that my parents should forbide me from playing paintball. But my parents are very supportive of me in paintball, because it keeps me out of doing other stuff on the weekends...

well i got one F and teh rest were A's and B's so my mom saw that and freaked(teh onley reason it was bad is because i had missed a week of school for asthma reasons).. BUT my parents took away:

and theres a big concert on thursday that i cant go to now...

I got 2 F's and C's and B's. And I'll get my usual 99 in AFJROTC.

When and if I get grounded, I'm going to accept it because its my fault I slacked off and never studied. Actually after this post I'm logging off to amke a kickass powerpoint presentation for somethign thats not due in like 4 weeks.

But since one of them was in French, I'm DEFINETLY ACING and BCING her class next term ebcuase I DO NOT want to have to sit through another year of that racist sexist biggot of a french teacher.

Some kids are just naturally smart. There is kids who are logically smart and kids who are book smart.
