Wow I just got kicked from a server for "Excessive TKing" when I killed a single teammate with some C4 (I also took out an enemy vehicle transport and two guys near it). Oh and of course I got punished for it .. they seriously need to remove this feature ><.

Who cares, still got 84 points that game. Come on coperal, here I come! Only about a month of playing away. (I've taken a liking to Spec Ops over Medic now because I'm so sick of not being able to destroy vehicles and the anti tank regular weapon blows)

Yeah,
Special Ops rocks for anti-tank work cause if you're defending a flag you can sorta sneak up on the tank and drop the C4 on it and run like hell....lol.

I'm loving the .50cal sniper. I love 1 shot kills and shooting through oncoming traffic...lol.

yea, I'm not sure if I plan on unlocking spec ops or sniper next...

I went w/ Sniper cause it seemed the most logical since I spend 50% as sniper, and 50% as other kits (mainly Engineer, Medic or the occasional support and Spec Ops).

While it doesn't gain any accuracy really it does gain penetration. I get many more 1 shot kills, and being able to follow a car down the street thats coming at you and then BLAM right through the front window is awsome.

I've even got heli's a few times where they were hovering over a flag and I got the pilot and the heli went down giving more points. Its definitaly very cool. The only drawback is its reload time is equivilant to the USMC rifle so even if your MEC/China you dont get that fast repeat you do w/ the stock weapons... but its worth it.

Yea, I don't know.. I think I have to be doing something wrong.. I NEVER get kills as a sniper.

My target is dead on. I'm in prone position not moving. I shoot them dead center mass, nothing. Maybe I'm always trying from too far away.. I don't know. I always never get any hits as a sniper.

My friend can sit down right after I'm playing and pop of kill after kill though, it's annoying as hell.

It doesn't look like he's doing anything else. I mean normally I'd love to play as sniper.. but I just suck at it in this game.. I'm hoping that the new gun would fix that problem for me.. who knows.

You have to calculate for distance.

Normally the way I do it is this.

I always aim for the head if I can... or if I'm at an elevated position and they're prone/etc from a distance I go for center body.

There are bullet physics so they do drop over distance.

So by aiming for the head if they're standing normally I get their head if they're close enough, or if its far I'll get a body shot.

If its a prone type thing it takes a couple of shots to get the distance sometimes.

Oh man today is not my day..

Scenario one:
At friendly base. There's a guy on the ground, and I'm in the gunner position of a tank. He suddenly kills me for no reason. This wasn't an accidental one shot one kill thing. He held down fire and killed me. ARH

Scenario two:
I'm planting C4 on enemy satalite. No enemies around. I suddenlty get sniped... by a teammate. ARHKJ

Well it depends on how far away they are. I know that when I'm near max distance from someone w/ the rifle I cant see their blue/red tags until they get closer so I have to guess by where they are, and their uniform if I can see it at all.

Unfortunately I've done that to a few fellow players ... I apologize though, but I can attest for the fellow snipe junkeez it can happen if they are a decent distance away.

Yea but why would you shoot at someone about to blow up your enemy CO's ability to see enemy units? I dunno maybe that's a bit too deep for the average sniper player... who knows

It's alright I did my share of TKing when I first played. (My friends said that the green guys were my teammates (Squad) so I was shooting the blue guys even though they were on my team )

Now I know how pissed off I made these guys haha
