I hate to say it... but I've been away from BF2 for a few days and didn't even think about playing.

I've gotten into some good new shows, as well as I picked up FFVII: ADVENT CHILDREN and the whole FIREFLY series and I've been addicted back to my 50" DLP set...lol.

I'll be back... but I gotta finish my shows first! Plus LOST starts next week... OMG I cant wait for that **** yo!

Yea, I'm in the process of "getting" Advent children right now

I've also been been busy to play bf2 because I don't have cable TV anymore so I use my computer to watch my shows.
And I also have a really busy schedua and tons of work. I mean work I can do while still browsing the net and IM, but not while on bf2 ><

Yeah I had to manually encode the subtitles in it so I could burn to DVD. But if you're familiar with FFVII you'll love it! If you haven't beaten FFVII or never played it you'll probably be impressed w/ the fights/etc but not care for the movie. It doesn't give too much recap on what happened in FVII so you need to know the backstory.

I watched it on my 50"DLP and it looked sick! I encoded it in 16x9 so it didn't have any black bars, just perfectly filled up my TV. Jaw dropping graphics.

I never saw FIREFLY before, but the previews for SERENITY look pretty cool so a friend told me to watch Firefly so I picked up all 14 episodes + extras. 6 gigs man! lol.

I'll be back on BF2 this weekend for a bit... but otherwise I'm glued to my TV!

Did firefly ever used to be on a while ago? I swear I've watched it before.. Havn't had a chanch to watch the (new?) episodes though.

Firefly was cancelled. It was on for a season and not renewed, but its an EXCELLENT show. Check it out. Its the backstory to SERENITY.

Firefly was canceled early, and I think 9 of the original 13 episodes were aired. They were aired out of order, which many Joss fan's think hindered the show's early fan growth.

Most firefly fans I know would consider Serenity the continuation of a great show. I guess you could call the Firefly series the back story for Serenity.

The episodes on SciFi are not new, they are the original 13 (all of them) and have been aired in the correct order.

If you like Firefly/Serenity, also check out Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel. That's all Joss and it's all good.

Back to BF2. I was thinking about getting an unranked server going. One with all of the weapons unlocked so we could play with the other weapons and decide what we like for the next unlock. Any group interest in that?

sounds good, or when data gets back just have him set his up with all the unlocks (since it is not ranked anyways).

probably also should set it up with bots, that way if you want to just jump on for practice you can do so even if your the only person

I don't know anything about it, but with teamspeak:
We can talk to each other and even form teams with seperate channels in case you play on different teams.

I mean talking on a game is pretty basic, what can you improve on?

Ventrilo is just overall an easier program. It is simpler, looks nicer, and IMO functions much better, and is more user friendly. Your choice, just sayin, bro.
