I think you said it best, though I would surely not be applying it to "any woman". I'd apply it to you

Now... I realize that to some this all sort of sounds sort of like Treason or Unpatriotic. But I contend to you that it is the very root of true patriotism for the people of this federation of states to protect its right to keep its "union" (Federal Governenment) in line. It is clearly the intent of our forefathers that we do so. It is NOT treasonous to uphold the constitution. And it is "we the people" that wrote it and submitted it to our newly formed Federal Government as a guideline of what we the people would allow them to do and not to do. We instructed them of what we would allow. And we quickly followed that instruction up by including how we would stay armed in order to keep them in line. Plus we then instructed them to keep no standing army so as that our Militias would be the ones to guard each state and be called upon to form a federal army. We did all that because we had seen many governements before us rule for the government and not the people. And we wished to keep our States rights as individuals. However we recognized that we probably needed a central "union" government to take care of tasks common to all the states. Which is how we set the whole thing up. From bottom to top not top to bottom. So it is the "CORRECT" thing to do, is to prevent the Federal Government from violating its constitutional mandate. That is the purist form of patriotism for an American. That is the very root of why America is the greatest country on earth. We did it differently than had ever done before. We made the people in charge. We are in charge and must remain in charge. People can twist that all they want. And many have forgotten that we are individualy responsible for our selves. They grew up assuming that was not the case. But it is!

I just bought an AR15 variant today while I still can. A Bushmaster in this case. I fear our right to have anything SemiAuto and black is soon to pass. Will I need it? Certainly hope NOT! Don't hope to do anything but have fun shooting it. Because people are not coming forth to protect their rights and voting and speaking out I might not get to have a chance to buy one later on though. Not enough of them anyway. I am going to. I am going to get more active and speak out. No matter if I come off sounding like a nut or not. I am going to use the peaceful means at my disposal. It's the patriotic thing to do. Lease we become a socialist France in the next ten years. Which we have every indication of going that route now.

Because our right to keep and bear arms has already been infringed. Try and walk through downtown San Francisco with a loaded firearm of any type (if it's not loaded is not an "arm"). And here in CA I CANNOT get a concealed carry permit. I also consider that an infringement. Regardless of that, I could not bear an arm in public without being arrested.

I have to disagree. We WERE in charge. Not anymore. Those days are gone...

I would be much more willing to vote pro-gun if it didnt have so many other negative impacts. I find it unfortunate that anti-gun control often also means things like anti-gay and anti-separation of church and state, among many other things.

I believe I have done my best to keep Politics, as far as party lines and such, completely out of it. I am talking government and rights. Your right to play paintball and own a paintball gun are involved here too. Its inter related in some ways. Perhaps we should outlaw online forums? Because they cause people to go out and kill people?
