First, before I start my rant.I'll give a synapse of my background. I spent 3 years in AFROTC.5 years in the United States Marines active and 4 years in the Army Reserve as active duty. What I'm about to post is my own personal feelings and facts. As for Sheehan, She disrespects her son, His fellow Marines/vets and those Marines/vets and that have died before him. As for the Commander in Chief, he went on intell that he thought was good at the time. Me personaly, I think the Russains and Sryains help Saddam transport the "goods" out of the A.A.O .

FACT MOMENT: The Russians have a lot too lose in the area along with the Frenchies. They have sold arms to the Iraqis,Iranians,Syrians and about every one else in the area .

Too much cash is flowing to the ex-KGB commander<Putitn> and pro-communist president <Chiaroc>. Currentlly the French F>l's are training the Chi-coms on the new arms to replace the type 81's to the new hybreed french/Chinese bullpups. Hmm guess who is supplying the new Iraqi Army with ammo weapons and parts for Tanks,A.P.C's etc. The Chinese,yep the same people that are working with the French who are worked with the Russians for the "oil for food program"iirc joke program. As for Bush be the evil President.Ah, he isn't as bad as former President Clinton and her husband<j/k>. After former President Bush left office The first thing F.P.C done was to cut the funding of the military. Crack troops had to train with NO AMMO!! Because of budget cuts.How can troops train with no ammo or i.e.d's? Or F.P.C send troops to the wonderful $hit-hole called Somalia<been there, done that>.

FACT MOMENT: Troops had a very strict don't fire till fired upon set by the Clinton administration. Staff Nco's and Officers wereallowed to carry M-67 frag gernades.No Nco's or non-nco's were allowed to carry them or rounds for the M-203 launchers/MK19's. The administration was more worried about the tango's then the troops.This is leading to Head-Tango-IN-CHARGE<Bin-Laden> . We had the drop on the s.o.b several times in Africa during Clintons admin. Nothing was done.

Another Fact Moment: North Korea has been tunneling under the 38th parallel for years,Ooops we found them<92-93>.Guess what nothing was really done to the North Korean admin. Enough tunnels was being built to over-run the South within hours<been there done that>.This wasen't released till the whole ordeal was over.The South Korans said the felt the blast all the way to Soel. God only know how many hundreds of pounds of C-4 the U.S and R.O.K Marines planted that day.

We went into Iraq with not enough troops. Also,the Army DID NOT secure the rear properly.They left their supply behind<big no-no> With that said the Republican Guard just blended in to the civvies,While the B.R.M's and the U.S.M.C took there time on clearing their area.In those areas they really don't have that much problems.But in the south eastern area is another story<Army>.While I think President Bush should have listened to Mr. Powell better.We might have had less problems.As for pulling out,Bad mistake! DEADLY BAD!!!! The Iraqi's MUST patrol their areas and take charge of THEIR country. Protecting it from the insurgents and the Iranian's and Syrians. People are *****ing and crying about 3000 that died.Yes, 3000 died but it could be a LOT worse. This number is a drop in the bucket compared to WW2 and Vietnam we lost in a day .It wasn't us that started it.It was US that was attacked. Americans need to quit having a mindset that this war will be all nice and clean. People will die. The war we are fighting is a non-standard war. It requires special skills that the modern Army hasn't really focused on till now.The only personal that focused that training is Delta,Rangers,S.E.A.L's, Marines and other spec op's

FACT MOMENT: It was the U.N that told former President Bush to call back the troops from Baghdad during "Dessert Storm".If the U.N didn't but- in. This would have ended a lot earlier<in '91> instead of it doing it today.But we completed the mission that was stated.To Push out Iraqi troops out of Kuwait. And guess who got busted in the oil for food program for skimming money.Yep the U.N's Presidents son!Hmm Ironic isn't!

If we pull-out early this WILL fuel the insurgent's against us and all freedom loving countries. We must support the troops and families of those that are deployed.Not only they are suffering the families are also. Give the troops<ours and the Iraqi's> what they need to complete the mission. No matter how long it take.But the thing is.Is that the Iraqi's have to take matters in their own hands.And slowly ween them from our help.We WILL BE IN IRAQ FOR MANY, MANY YEARS! It's a hot bed for insurgents that attacked us.And will be a hub for our troops to deploy to strike at tango's.

Im alarmed that our planning was not more thorough, considering the historical context of the area / society we were invading.
