Sweet! Did you ever try to mount the ram horizontally (I know my spelling could use some work)? I think that would be the ideal set up. Also what did you do for a lpr, I would like to dream up a way to integrate it in to the trigger frame. I think I will be ordering a palmers quick switch and possibly a palmer rock. I'm having problems thinking of a way to mount the rock, I don't want hoses and parts all over the marker.

I wonder if having QEV's on the ram will have a noticable performance increase...

how can you make he tiggerpull smaller so you can walk the trigger? that i my main goal, i want to be able to walk the trigger and avoin electronics, hnd have it work and be cheap, it would still give you a cocker triggerpull, right?"Ah yes, I have one of the 32*rebels that I always take to big scenario games. It keeps the truck from rolling if I have to park on a hill." - automikey

I was thinking the same thing...Originally posted by master_alexanderhow can you make he tiggerpull smaller so you can walk the trigger? that i my main goal, i want to be able to walk the trigger and avoin electronics, hnd have it work and be cheap, it would still give you a cocker triggerpull, right?

I belive the pull should be VERY short, of course it bepends on the 3-way you use. I just ordered all of the parts, I figure my trigger pull should be .6mm and about 4oz

How did you figure this?

I figured this because in my design the trigger acts directly on the 3-way. There for the only resistance you have is the 3-way and the trigger return. The 3-way I will be using has a .6mm activation and a 2oz force required. Through the use of very exact trigger stops I will be able to tune this thing to a very sweet shooting machine! Well it's all theory right now but by the end of this or next week I will know for a fact how this concept works.

Where did you acquire the activation and pull weight information? Also, what parts did you order?

I got the info directly from palmers. I ordered there quick switch, it's not the smallest or least expensive but is is the shortest/lightest pull.

well, magaman and I just rigged one up, I mean extreme rigging! Any ways this concept has been proven! I'll let you guys know when our final design is done

Excellent. I look forward to it. I'm curious though, will you try to fit the reg inside the grip frame?Originally posted by jamescellwell, magaman and I just rigged one up, I mean extreme rigging! Any ways this concept has been proven! I'll let you guys know when our final design is done

Through some internet research, I believe the ans ram is physically the shortest ram available. I was wondering if anybody had experience with this ram and if they could provide some measurements that would be great!

did you guys do a search when you started looking for info on this?
it's been done many times by many people with good success.
I used an MPA-3 valve actuator (modified of course) for a ram and an smav-3 for the 3-way behind the trigger. it's a small tight set-up. the trigger wasn't as light as some of the others, but it was short and fast. out shoot the revvy fairly easy.

worked pretty well. I imagine the valve could have been made to to have lighter actuation, but I skipped onto to making it an electro mag. that is covered in this thread:
