    SmartParts Vibe: your thoughts

To be honest, I was kind of impressed. Has anyone had any contact with it?

      Holy spin batman!!!!

I am selling everything I have so I can own a marker made with the same material as Law Enforcement handguns, so I can get in the game. Remember, equipment counts!

Yeah. Good thing is the new player wont have a clue who 'Matty Marshall' is, so his e-coolness wont matter.

He mentions that the marker is made out of the same material as law enforcement handguns when it benefits the sales pitch. But downtalks 'sears', even though law enforcement handguns use those.

My father always told me "you get what you pay for" or "quality costs extra". How long lasting do you think a 150 dollar EP gun will last? Righ, exactly!!

Yeah...I heard him just come out and say low pressure markers shoot better...this time its because they are a more stable platform? Was that what he was telling us?
Or was it that with bolts and sears and things rocking around it made it less stable?

Just watching it has already started the brainwash.....

            I must have one!!!!

You think that whomever sanctioned that video would have insisted that dude shave or clean himself up or something.

id pay more to be able to grow a beard like that than for that gun
id also pay the 149.99 to be able to talk so much bs on behalf of a multi-billion dollar company

just me or it look on the larger side? compare it to his body in the video

I'd get a leftover Promaster for $139.99 at action village or ebay before I would touch the vibe. Looks like it game out of a bubble gum machine.

i like how he says all the cool features as if it were a test where he had to memorize words and stuff , and seeing him wave around the gun so easily, makes me think how light that gun is (or how fast it will break )

either way, maddy's cool, smart parts isnt.

im sure it uses the same horrible components internaly as other sp guns.

im interested to see how well the body actualy holds up. looked at one up close today and it was not impressive, but i will say weight was evenly distributed throughout the entire marker, front to back.

it was smooth looking, but nothing special.

a more flash barrel wouldnt hurt selling the marker either.

you get what you pay for

Ok so my question to the paintball public:

Are we finished being impressed with "tournament quality" markers at a cheap price??? Or is there going to be yet another Ion style stampede to buy Smart Parts markers??

Im not sure a stampede is in order, but im sure there will be those guys that buy theses as well as those newer players.

the problem i am seeing and i may be wrong(wouldnt be the first time), but we are not getting the new players required to feed the paintball machine and these low end markers are only hurting the industry long term.

epiphany sales seemed to be fairly low compared to an ION per say, im assuming as they keep pushing these low budjet markers that sales will be declining if they arent already.

or theyl repackage them as something even cheaper...

and tom, i think calling these markers "tournament markers" is an insult tothe true high end paintball tourney markers.

                              1. I hate Smart Parts and the Gardner Brothers.

                              2. This is probably the best option out their for beginners looking to purchase a cheap tournament grade beginner gun that they can shoot for a little while. When it busts or they're ready for a new gun, they can buy something else. The hopper and tank they get for this can transfer to the new rig. I wish this was out when I was starting.

                              3. Flame suit on.
