I once knew a kid in my school that i didnt much care for. He thought about going into paintball so i started talking with him. I asked him what gun he wanted to buy and after a while i realized he had no idea what he was talking about. So i tricked him into thinking O-rings were made to make your gun shoot faster and some other funny things.
Another thing is that when i talk to my paintballing friends about my gun and people overhear me using the word 'Nitro' they turn around and ask me how i can get ahold of nitro hyglcerine. it takes me a while to explain to them what is wrong with that question.

probably the funniest thing ive ever done wen i waz a noob waz wear this huge black leather jacket and to this day my friends still make fun of me for ever wearing it

one thing that has happened recently waz i had been workin of my gun waitin for a new game to start and wen i git up to go play im walkin to my side of the field and i hear this buzzzzzzzzzz so i look down and my hopper has emptied almost all ov my paint onto the ground cause i had left the nubbin out. not my finest few minutes lol

this was like two weeks ago, after i got my intelli i would forget to put my saftey on, on account i never had to before cuz my trigger wasnt so light. so i put on my barrel sock after getting hit and i started walking off the field. pak pak! CRAP! i shot two balls into my barel sock.

yesterday there was this noob playing rec after i was done with my tourney, he was sitting on the sidelines next to my dad after getting shot out. so hes sitting there with his barrel plug in andd he pulls the trigger. (the bunkers at this field are big hollow tubes) he pulls the trigger with his rental pointing inside the tube and the barrel plug flies into the tube. my dads laughing his butt off and the ref tells the player to get his barrel plug out of the tube. i was behind my bunker while this was happening so i didnt know he was out. i came out of my bunker and it looks like hes hiding while his arm is way far back in the tube. i started popping off some shots and hit him a few times before i notice hes already out and looking for somthing. after the game he was still trying to get it out and i walked by and asked what he was looking for. he said his barrel plug fell in the tube, which i thought was wierd considering it was a horizantal tube.

I was looking at an issue of APG in school and a noob player walks over and starts looking at it. He points to a nitro tank and says "wow, that's a big c02 tank!" I tell him that it's not co2 and after 5 minutes of telling him the positives of running HPA compared to co2 he tell's me that there's no point and that it would just be a waste of money to run HPA.

I use to play at ABC till i realized everyone there sucked. (not being cocky) so then i moved over to paintball depot which was better.

I always bring my 68 Carbine along with me when I play, there is nothign like playing speed ball with it and only a 50 round hopper to prove the point that my mag or TImmy isn't doing all the work

first time

I guess I still am a newb..since im kinda getting into paintball alittle more now. But a few years ago at the first game I played i made 3 mistakes in a row.

It was woods ball in my friends big backyard. I had borrowed his extra gun...he had just got a mag... Well i Loaded the hopper up with paint and flipped the lid down. I didn't realize at the time that the thing like clamps down or snaps on whatever. But i spilt evry round of paint out on the ground and spent the next 10 minutes picking the paint up.

Well of course I had no idea why this happened so i bent down to pick up another ball and spilt the paint agian. Of course my now aggrivated friend shot me in the back of the foot.

So there it is my stupid noob story.

The most pitiful, and i think yall would agree with this, noob manuever ever is taking off your gogles on the field.

I reff, i see the dumbest *naughty naughty...you should know better than to circumvent the cuss filter* on the planet ever. For the love of God! ya poor saps keep your damn gogles on. In fact today i saw some idiot lift his gogs coming outta bunker after getting hit, mind you, there were 3 other, people that were live getting shot at in within 10 feet from im.

I swear its as if the whole world revolves around them. "...oh gee im hit/out i guest the games over...gogle lift. or "...oh Gee games over.. ALL paintball guns automaticaly stop shooting when that happens..."


Noob or not stupid is stupid. I hope yall more experince players do as i do and give them Noobs or otherwise hell when "they" cant fight the irresistable urge to do the gogle lift.

I had a noob saturday. First, i laid several noob spots all day. Second, I couldn't screw the guys freak back together that i was borrowing. Third, i screwd the air into a cocker(non-cocked) and wondered why it was leaking. Fourth, i tried to adjust the velocity on the cocker(mag owners know how that goes). 5th, I was using Daroach's X mag and i shot my teammate in the leg(partially due to the trigger*cough*) from two feet away. 6th, i tripped on a root and ate it with my friends impulse(brand new) in hand. Somedays i have just have a bad day.....

one noobish thing(well.... tourni noobs ) i always laugh when i see is when somebody breaks before the ref yells GO GO GO. hehe.

my noob story:
my first game i was using a rental tippmann pro-lite. i was wearing a bright blue shirt and kaki pants( i still wear those, but they are shorts not pants hehe). i had no idea that paintballs could break in a gun... so my first shot i chopped a ball but had no idea what happened so i just kept shooting and wondering why paint sprayed out of my barrel. a reff walked over and was like "holy crap!! you are out, go talk to the guy in the shop now!" so i went. there was litteraly a solid line of paint dribbling from my barrel. it was bad, real bad. hehe oh well

I've seen and participated in my share of "noob moments".

Every once and a while, I'll start the game with either my safety on, my pf plug in "embarass position" (that is a great term, by the way), my rev off, or a combination of the three. I'm thinking of writing a checklist on the back of my rev so that i remember.

I'm not sure if this is considered a "noob moment", but my first time playing on an indoor field, I ran to my first bunker, started my slide, and slid right past the bunker. My buddies on the other team were laughing so hard that they couldn't hit me as I scrambled back behind the bunker.

At a scenario game, one of my friends jokingly yelled out "All you newbies, follow us" right before a reinsertion. The ref blows the horn, we take off running towards a part of the field where there's a lot of action. I jump behind a bunker, and a few seconds later, I hear this tremendous commotion behind me. I turn around, and there's 7 or 8 little guys clustered behind the pallet bunker with me. I felt like a mother goose.

I was snap shooting 3 paintballs at a time and this guy said to his friend thats what i need, 3 shot burst!

Also a lot of people always think me and my friends have full auto guns when we shoot fast.

Also Ill put my gun upside down and dry fire and people tell me to stop wasting my paint!

well i was at a field w/ a bunch of n00bs, and this one kid was standing there talking t another kid with his gun in hand. we were in the safe area, and were cleaning our goggals for the next game. all of the sudden i hear BANG and the kid holding the gun had shot his barrel plug rite out of his marker, and almost hit the guy he was talking to. LOL when i asked him what happend he replied "i dont get it, i had the safty in the end of the barrel! LOL
