AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Timmy = most popular / dominant gun at PSP Philly Open 2003 ???
Regarding the trigger bounce issue, I was chrono reffing the NJ NPPL and i gave every timmy, (which was a lot!) speed, and eblade cocker the 3rd degree in checking for bounce. Rules are rules ya know

As little as 10 cents a day and you can buy my family out of slavery... Hurry before its too late!
O man, i totally agree, everyone shoots timmys. EVERYONE. I shot my first timmy today, and omg, it is sooooooooooooo easy to walk, especially with those aftermarket curved triggers. I was hittin 15 bps easily on my first try. These guns are a joke. I dislike timmys.

So what are your thoughts?
Which guns were plagued with the most trigger bounce?
Can you please explain how you test for trigger bounce?
About the only thing I can honestly say I like about the Timmy was how friggin sweet the trigger was. It's not a bad gun by any standards, but I think there are better. Even then, I'm still much more comfortable with a Matrix's trigger (OMG those are disgusting fast).
I bought an X_mag and was not happy with it at all, even after adjusting the trigger for about a week. When I got my timmy, I loved the thing right out of the box. Come to think of it, I have never really heard of anyone not being impressed with a timmy they buy. They shoot fast, are accurate, have minimal recoil, and are easy to maintain. You can't ask for much more.

Don't playa h8!
Amen. I loved the feel of a Classic, and would love to get a 2K4.

manike...I love to see other people shooting that way.
Everybody looks at me funny when they see me shoot. I've gotten so use to raking that I shoot that way 90% of the time.

It's any trigger that operates on a microswitch. Testing for bounce is a lot like sweetspotting the reactive trigger, pull slowly till the gun goes full auto or a several round burst (depending hw bad it's bouncing).
I have tuned the bounce out of my trigger and have the debounce setting on the lowest value (1) and no ref can get it to bounce because it plain doesn't. But unlike the Timmy, or any other LCD that can adjust bounce on the fly, I have to open my gripframe and flip a dipswitch before I can change that setting. If you are required to lock velocity on a marker after you chrono, why isn't it the same for debounce settings?
cphilip - ...And again I am not allowing anyone to use the "well everyone else does it and gets away with it" excuse. Get used to it. Life aint always fair and this ain't no democracy.
I wish it wasn't only in tournies though that they check for bounce. At the field that I play at, the angels and impys seem like they have mad bounce, because they are pulling monster strings of shots. Everyone is too obsessed with the speed, so no one checks it, partly because no one knows how to.
Hell, I still have trouble with the concept of bounce. Or how to spot it. Anyone care to explain it in a way that a music major can understand?
