Spotting it? You can't, really. As long as someone moves their fingers while balls fly at u it always lends doubt to the accusations of bounce. When you pick it up, you can tell for sure. Pull the trigger and you know if the marker is spewing out more than you tell it to. It's like love. You just know. (okay, that was pretty gay on my part)

      No sKiLLz,

I know how to check for bounce... I was asking Kaiser Bob, how he checked for bounce...

I also wanted to know, from the guns he checked at the event, which ones had the most bounce.

My guess would be Timmy. One, since there were obviously more timmys there than any other gun. Two, the crazy combination of the Timmy's kick plus the Equalizer debounce 1 or 2.

When chronoing, couldn't a player set his debounce really high, and then reset it really low as he's walking on the field?

Since he's not adjusting the veloctiy, is it legal?

Do the rules say anything about this?

What about guns where you can adjust the MAX ROF?

On some guns, if you can adjust the MAX ROF easily (gripframe buttons), they could use this same procedure to beat the trigger bounce testing. If they wanted to cheat, they could set their MAX ROF to 1 BPS while chronoing, and then reset it to 20 BPS as they walk away from the chrono station...

Everybody looks at me funny when they see me shoot. I've gotten so use to raking that I shoot that way 90% of the time.

BTW is that team Ignition from MN?
Yep I believe it is I was guesting for them at Philly and will be playing with them at World Cup also.

Shooting that way works for me! I laned a lot of people out on the break during X-ball shooting that way!

          Nice gun Linx.

It would be pretty easy to set it to 1 debounce cause you are not even pushing buttons. Just pull the triggers a couple of times.

Sorry Jack. Not meant to be condescending. Are you going to show up for AO day at SC Village on the 30th? You can see how a Matrix bounces.

Is it because Timmies give you ROF bragging rights (i.e. Equalizer LCD displaying supposed MAX ROF)?

Awww. That's Ok. We're going to have a lot of video and pictures. Have fun out there.

BTW they are dry firing, right? That makes it cycles per second.

On my vikings when there is air (useless ingame) I can find a sweetspot on the trigger where it just runs away, and it almost seems like the guns maxing out at 31bps like the equalizer is set to.

One of the guys who comes to my shop has a magnetic trigger kit on his Angel Speed, he found a way to hit the side of his gun or the trigger just right and it can bounce for a good fifteen shots. If yo try to sweetspot it, it wont work so looking for bounce would be nearly impossible.

Iv noticed with my timmy, after fooling with it the day before I played, I set the trigger some way, but I had no air to test it. So I put it in my bag and went to sleep, the next day at the field, when I got air the first game my timmy got away from me. When I walked the trigger, I would take my hand off the trigger frame and my timmy was having so much fun it continued to fire about 20 more balls, with my hand completely off the trigger. I thought it was cool, so after that game I looked at it more closely it seems it wasent trigger stick or anything related to that, it was bounce. I was amazed that the gun had that much bounce. So after I found out it was bounce, I installed my old trigger, no more bounce (I miss the bounce, it came in handy when I really needed it.)

So inconclusion, my timmy has lots of bounce, when I want it to, but I can fix it by installing a new trigger. (People with timmys, if you want bounce, go get a PBK scorpion trigger )

Now this is a GREAT EXAMPLE of "RUN-AWAY". (i.e. take your finger of trigger and the gun continues to fire on it's own)

Far different from "SWEET-SPOTTING" or "BOUNCING".

                                Thanks for sharing Slip!

Yes, the Timmy kicks a lot... enough to induce be illegal bounce when using the Equalizer + low debounce setting.

It was a big pain to dial out bounce on my timmy as well...
