AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Well hAir or not, the valve still needs ~800psi for the valve. So the air from the tank would need to go directly to the valve, and a reg would only interfere with that... And from seeing pictures and videos i saw no use for a reg... and considering that this is a drop in trigger frame, there is no hidden hoses.. so no reg
Working for a company that has a file cabinet stuffed with concepts and designs for literally everything you can possibly imagine (and most of it created well before anyone else even thought of applying whatever to paintball) I can understand how this might work, so my question is just a hypothetical one, really.
But, on the other hand, if you know who it is, I'm sure we'd like to hear it....

Actually, the hAir needs an lpr. I think nicad has hid in the frontgrip, and made internal air-routing to the frame. But yes, tha valve still needs 800 psi, so the lpr just goes to the frame.

He had him in mind. Recently released was a video of Fireblade's new frame for Autocockers... which happens to be quite similiar, at least as far as I can tell, to the hAir.
Only thing is Jay said this frame is 5 years from concept->prototype because he needed solid legal go ahead. That's where the legal problems probably come in.
I don't think anyone has mentioned Craig Palmer's Tempest mod to the Blazer when considering who may have a prior design similar to the hair. Shortly after the original RT came out Crag modified a Blazer so that it would be "reactive". He never sold it because Palmer's felt it fired too fast, could not be properly fed and was potentially dangerous. Obviously, the industry has changed since then...
Anyway, I believe the net effect of this mod was an extremely light trigger pull coupled with reactivity, providing insane rates of fire. Craig was often seen firing the gun with his tongue. I do not know the details of the mod, but I imagine it involved a 4-way, lpr and possibly a ram (all parts Palmer is famous for and used to working with) built into the trigger frame. Obviously, no electronics were utilized.
I may be way off, but seems to be a definite possibility.
collin good luck, if this is the problem please provide as much info as possible.
And if any pro team guys read this and if it is you guys, work something out and try not to ruin this great product maybe joint patent huh
anyways hope this all works out and the player gets two great products to choose from
the patent already issued to Pro-Team. Deadly Wind didn't do anything wrong, they merely re-invented something they had no way of knowing had already been invented.
I would love to discuss things like who is licensing and what other arrangements are being made in regards to this patent, but I can't, at least for the time being.
I understand as well that the above statement is frustrating, and I'm sorry about that, but there's just no way around it right now.
I can assure you that Pro-Team's history has been one of working fairly and honestly (often to our own detriment) with those who wanted to work with us.
I just saw something like this for autocockers and they are going to get their patent 10-12-04 would this be an issue for the hAir trigger? Sorry if it was already discussed.
