The questions we must ask ourself is : will pro-team try to make an agreement with deadlywind to produce something faster using what deadlywind has done or will they stand away from deadlywind and make their own design from scratch. It would save them a lot of time to make an agreement with deadlywind to pick up their design but who know what will happen.

yes and we dont know how far they are and what the desighn is like a whole frame? working safet? and i ahte to say it but since its been this long i dont see an agreement coming soon after all who gives more $ to agd colin or ptp ?

sorry if this was asked but if we do the trade in program with our frame do we get the trigger installed in the exact fram we send... like my y-frame is green... if i send it in will it come back the same green just with everything installed or will a whole new trigger come back?

They haven't even said for sure that they are DEFINATELY doing a trade-in. Probably, but not def.

There's a chance its not even coming out, so discussing trade-in programs is kind of silly. Pro Team Products apparently had a patent on something similar back in 2000, and will release it for 'cockers before the end of the year, and the Mag thereafter. Questions about whether or not this will prevent the release of the hAIr have not been answered, which isn't good. Bottom line, I wouldn't hold your breath for a DW trigger, but I would look for a similar product from PTP.

Basically all I can say is this.

PTP has the earliest filing date on what appears to the design DW has used on thier hAir trigger frame. I can't say for sure because I haven't seen the DW in person or been asked to evaluate it but it seems obvious that this is the case.

DW's options are basically this:

Make thiers anyway,

Sign an agreement to allow them to make theirs without conflic,

Show some proof of an earlier filing,

Show that their design is that of a means that doesn't infringe on the existing Patent.

As far as I'm aware, PTP is very open to working with any one who wishes to do the same and make this technology available for everyone.Options will most definately be availble to DW or whoever if they wish try and work together.PTP has had a LONG standing relationship with AGD in the past,right up till now and do hope to continue to do so in the future.Legal issues such as this have existed and been worked out in the past and I see no reason why they shouldn't have the same ability to be worked out on into the future.

Hair trigger

A friend of mine told me to go look at this hair trigger that you guys were making and wow, i'm impressed. I'm looking at getting a logic vert frame in the near future but i wanted to know if you guys would be doing the hair triggers on those vert frames. Or if I bought one now could i send it in to you guys when everything is complete and you do the work on the frame i send in. Please let me know.
